As I understand it this was an initial hearing to decide if the case should be thrown out or heard based on the initial arguments.

Should it be determined to go to trial a trial date would need to be set.

0.55 actually & that was without the permission being given & against the planning officers recommendations.

The application is being rerun as there was some misconduct from some of the planning committee members on a virtual meeting.

The application seems sound but obviously there is some NIMBY backlash.

Hopefully after all the hard work by the company & surrey council planners it will be accepted.
There was a concerted effort by local councilors last time but hopefully the balance will go the other way this time. If not I think the company will appeal the decision via national planning policy of which I think the council planners can see no reasons for failure & likely would not even contest it.

It will be great if the judiciary hold them to account, they seem to do & say what they want from all sides creating confusion with out responsibility.

Fortunately or unfortunately the governments job is to legislate through the middle with something's liked & others not. But it carries responsibilities on all sides & has a balance to strike.

If as much money had been spent on Bradford Bridge as has been spent on Horse Hill & buying out its partners I think UKOG would be in a very different position today, but time will tell as the field development plan for the Kimmeridge is scheduled to be completed & go to the OGA by 2022 which will be after the drilling of Dunsfold. This is inline with the statements on the Kimmeridge have stated & Bradford Bridge has been retained pending the result & analysis of HH, BB & Dunsfold.

I have to say how much I am relieved at hearing there submissions & being able to read them today they are in short hand but in the comments section I have tried to explain where Sarah Finch & her council have no understanding of what they are talking about & why the appeal will fail.

Did you hear any protest from this lot over Union Jack's West Newton drills or planning permissions at the planning stages.

This development has now been granted a 25 years production licence after being drilled in 2015 & 3 years of EWT. Are you telling me that nobody has challenged this in the last 6 years.

It's like trying to close a stable door after the horse has bolted.

The claims to the court of appeal are trying desperately to pull every scrap by the hair & the judge even commented on the number of objections by Sarah Finch wasting the courts time.

If I'm not mistaken the environmental permit for the 25 year production at HH with 4 extra well drills.

If I am not also mistaken there has always been plans & permission for this site to produce up to 3500 BOPD when developed & be one of up to 8 sites in this licence.

HH Portland value alone of approx £220 million & each additional site of £100 million.

Maybe I'm wrong but if there is no production permits there is no reserves so no HH or development.

This is a project which has taken many years to bring to fruition but seems to hang in the balance at the moment with the JR.

My understanding is that the JR can not quash Surrey councils decision but it may at worst return it for reconsideration which would mean more delays. Should that not be determined I'm sure it would then need to go to the planning inspectorate.

Hopefully some national interest being shown from the government for its policies & procedures will prevail in the conclusion that Surrey council did not need to produce figures from the carbon emissions of 25 years production as it is virtually impossible & not all oil is burn as part of it's uses & as you very often remind us UKOG is not producing enough to warrant this level of scrutiny.

Congratulations Ninetails on your successes but in my opinion the challenges of this week start to show the national interest which has been much talked about for many years with UKOG.

re -hearing of the Lockey planning application get.
