I think it's called micro management & there is no doubt in some circumstances it may be justified.
e.g. to sort problems, raise productivity & flow rates, to take things from one level to another........
SS seems to be a hands on director with his background as a geologist not a businessman first.
What some seem to forget is that is what we have SS for to go through the data with his 35 years of experience & make UKOG the leader that it will become in it's field.
This takes time & trust & does not mean that all will go well at every turn but hopefully over time this will become one of the best investments of a generation.
There are always those who will know better and if they do I ask only why they did not throw there hat in the ring to do the job when it became available?
It is all very easy kicking from the sidelines when you have no responsibilities.
