This share / business is very undervalued and removing all debt will just make it a perfect target for Private Equity who would load it with debt, strip out cash and kill it, while getting it very cheap. I agree with the general idea of minimising debt but interest rates will probably start coming down soon and I believe reinstatement of dividend is more important if the share is to attract the attention it should be getting from institutional investors.

The way the post office is going I really don't think that's a great idea. Cards are being 'given', posted less often...

Liberum just updated price target for Card to 175p. Good positive broker note. Shame brokers are always wrong! And more than a bit corrupt.

Silly Day for Card (again) but seems as though the Algos are trying to get stop-loss sales initiated. Manipulation that our silly LSE overlooks and oversees. What a silly market UK equities is at the moment.

Nothing to scare, but nothing to excite. Top of profit range is good although we knew that pretty much. On track for medium to longer term goals is good, but again no real surprise.

There are plenty of people desperately talking the price down. Perhaps they have motives to support this. There will probably be substantial sells tomorrow even if the trading update us very positive - as many of us expect. Price will gradually rise over the next few months even if sellers knock it back tomorrow. We will see.

Trading announcement is definitely Tuesday (not Thursday).

My goodness there's some drivel in this chain. If Card produces results anywhere near expectation the price will rise over the next few weeks / months. Not far off re-joining ftse350. This will create buying pressure. Of course there will be profit taking. But if divs may return soon and the company is doing well then the sp has plenty of upside.

Algo traders desperately trying to get us to sell. This share will be flying in a week. Don't let them fool you!

Barclays shows consensus of brokers with revenue growth over next few years.

I've looked at Simply Wall Street a while. Most of the data is correct buttons hard to see where they get the forecast revenue drops from. Brokers covering CF all show revenue increases. I doubt CF is really analysed by them. They just aggregate data, and the forecasts appear to be outliers. Hard to see CF losing revenue with growth into new markets, Matalan deal etc.

No 'proof' any more than you have for a counterpoint view, but based on talking to friends. I'm sure younger people are not sending cards by post, but there are very many older folk who do. And use Christmas for newsletters to send to friends who they want to keep in touch with.

Second class is cheaper. I sent 35 cards by post and received about the same plus many by hand. I guess older people send cards rather more than young uns.

Have you been in any of the shops? Most people I know are still sending and receiving cards, despite being reduced numbers compared to years ago.

Surprised that so many cards have been posted given the criminal destruction of a price-efficient postal service in UK. Huge numbers of cards are hand delivered - neighbours, local friends, school friends, uni friends, workplace colleagues, hospitals etc etc. Any teeny drop in card sales more than made up for by the glorious tat, chocolates, bunting, balloons, wrapping paper, mugs etc. Card is flying.

Reports abound of crowded CF shops, many with gaps in shelves. While some seem to find this a negative, I assume it means they've sold out of all stock for these items. This is a great sign - especially as shops are still heaving and tills ringing! Have a Merry Xmas, and long positions in CF will almost definitely be part of a Happy New Year!

Good to see that buys are outnumbering sells again. Can only keep going and sp still do undervalued that this can only have at least 20% upside once the Xmas initial results are in. Hold.
