Hoping that plenty of dividends get reinvested. Should help the sp. Given special div history we're not such a long way from the next one I predict.

Anyone's guess as to what is going to happen. Shorters might pile in tomorrow - they're piling in wherever they get half a sniff? Someone might buy a big tranche just before close today? Price may drop less than 3.6p as those fearing a sell off pile back in tomorrow. Goodness knows. What a silly situation this Stock market is in. I preferred it before Big Bang! Happy days!

Mr Buffett is always worth following but his advice was coined before blatant uncovered shorting became popular and when markets were relatively efficient. The volatility of Card may well work if you're a 5 year holder but I'm looking for returns and having been bitten by Card now for 5 years my technique has changed! Good luck...

Card the worst performing stock in the whole UK main market without a release of news today being a trigger. So... was almost certainly being falsely lifted end of last week ahead of a big sell. Manipulation? Perhaps not, but this sort of practise has happened quite a bit before. Luckily for me I sold a bundle after results and on Friday and have been buying it back today so lessens the pain. Good luck, you loyal lot out there.

I hope 80p is over pessimistic but the way this share moves it's definitely possible. Seems to me that CF management has no real idea how to crack online market so I would totally support a merger with Moonpig at this stage, but still hope for a recovery if the half year is decent. It may well be...

I hold far too much and sold a bit before the announcement. Sold a lot more afterwards! Am now buying back some of what I sold. Tbh very disappointed by lots of what was in the report but the share is still trading at 7 pe and is a cash cow (ish) despite some terrible and overly optimistic corporate plans. Can't see profit dropping much this year and expect Darcy et al have learned a few lessons. The lesson I've learnt is that this is a great trading share - I want the dividend but with 10-20p swings over a few days or weeks there is a shedload of wonga if you trade well. Sadly, I haven't recently as I piled back in at 110-120p last September but will learn from now. Bloody stamp duty - crooks.

Fair market reflection of results so far imho. Lots of little disappointments - online, middle east, cash / debt - but headline figures not bad in the circumstances. Let's hope bricks and mortar retail isn't totally destroyed by this desperate government as CF not showing much real progress on omnichannel.

I predict they will stick with current policy, but this allows for occasional special div on top of regular and share buybacks. Can't see them changing policy soon. They want to re-present CF as a growth stock rather than a dividend stock.

Yes, stupid posts still outnumber sense... Easier to bear when price is on the up. But best to ignore the morons. I was about right on £1 by end of last week so hoping £1.20 by end next week is also about right.

3.6p is the baseline final dividend expectation based on stated corporate policy. However, a small special div and/or buyback is possible. The cost of the US acquisitions sits against the view that the div will be higher but I certainly hope it's about 4p payment declared next week however made up. I'm sure the basic final div will be 3.6p however as the company has to manage expectation and deal with dumb Rachel's greedy demands.

Hi folks, Yes - signs are good. Only tiny problem for next week that I see is that January was a bad weather month and possibly a bit slower than expected, along with a rumour they understocked on Valentine's cards. I'm sure the year so far FY26 is going fine and there may be some headwind in the US but I would expect relatively small issue overall. With sp up 20% or so over past month ish the signs are good. Hoping we top £1 before 7th... Hoping we hit £1.20 shortly after...
