During the recent pre budget announcement, on the front of the chancellor's podium, the buzz words were:

'Stong Foundations/ Secure Future'

Pure guess, but it screams ' housebuilding & defence'.

The BBC is the most trusted news outlet in the world, despite sometimes making mistakes, end off.

Trump wants to destroy the BBC, for obvious reasons, and Farage is his man on the ground.

Disregarding political factors, the recent disturbances will direct focus toward the Royal Charter, which is set to introduce major transformations in public broadcasting. It seems certain to me that ITV will be included in this process, with consolidation likely being the preferred direction for commercial providers.

There were no substantiated government proposals to raise income tax this year - just media chatter driven by a political agenda. The decline in U.S. markets yesterday presented an opportunity this morning; I made a purchase this morning at 0.99.56. What a fantastic bargain!

Barratt does not provide an explanation for Scott's sudden exit as CFO. If you're doubtful about the reason, it will likely remain unconfirmed. The most you can conclude is that 'it doesn't reflect well' Nevertheless, there may be completely legitimate reasons that are not suitable for public disclosure.

On a positive note, Barratt states that the company is in a "strong financial position" after the merger of housebuilding companies Barratt Developments and Redrow in 2024, rejoice at that news.

IMO, deal or no deal, these are cheap!

TF1+ is a streaming service launched by the French broadcaster TF1 in January 2024, designed to offer a significant range of content while competing with platforms like YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. Could the recent interest from Comcast rekindle their position in the running? The UK government would likely favor them over American firms who are heavily influence by Trump - (who is attacking Britain IMO!).

Some of us have said it all along, now people appear to be waking up to how incredibly cheap these are. The recently released streaming figures highlight just why Comcast, and possibly others, are circling. With or without a concrete bid, these are a bargain IMO.
