If we were to tie-up with another across the pond (or elsewhere), one would have thought more results will be necessary to prove the momentum. I notice that in previous years there is no info on dates for Q1 Results, is this because there's no requirement to publish?
Magnite & Peri are up a fair bit on US opening. Either our results are taking some time to be evaluated and absorbed to their full potential, or there is still much to be proven. Probably a few weeks/months ahead yet before we know how we compare.
The Restaurant Group (TRG) will seek to raise £175m from its shareholders to pay down debt and use it as a buffer in case of any Covid resurgence. This is negative for all pub/restaurant shares. The probability is though, once restrictions are lifted there will be no going back. Pub/restaurant demand is pent-up, shares will surge IMO.
Morgan’s leaving was premeditated and orchestrated, it has been known for some time he is the front-runner for the new GB News channel (another Murdoch influenced Tory outlet). Morgan will be popping up angain soon with his script of subtle right wing opinionated bile.
Be in no doubt Morgan’s dramatic exit was pre-planned. The management have known for some time he’s the front runner for the new GB News channel, that’s news with subtle right-wing opinionated tripe.
Perhaps they could replace him with a loo brush, that would be a big improvement. The mind boggles as to who tunes-in to watch his posh boy tripe. It’s disturbing and weird that he hates Meghan but has no problem with Andrew!! Still what would you expect from a mate of Trump and Farage.
People may be rejoicing now but they won't be when he's spouting his bile on his own show on the GB News. Just what we need, him and a UK version of right-wing fox news.

Uncle_Doug, The mind boggles as to who watches this slop, but as one said it's good for business and there's no accounting for taste! More Masked Singer and Meghan & Harry, please!
Increase in Pub Beer garden bookings!7 Mar 2021 18:45
There appears to be strong demand for getting back to the bar, in the interim, it will be the beer garden but it's moving fast towards normality. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-56296518

For anyone interested in the Google/Facebook grip on advertising, there’s a really good article in ‘The New Statesman’ magazine, unfortunately I was unable to supply a workable link (it’s available via Twitter).
‘What Nick Clegg isn’t telling us about Facebook’s fight with Australia’
