Negotiations between ITV and Comcast regarding the potential sale of ITV's media and entertainment business have indeed slowed in public visibility. Just because the details are not yet in the public domain doesn't mean talks have stopped. What it does imply is this is a complex issue and they'll take all the time they need.

Starmer has worked hard to strengthen economic ties with Beijing. Trump, predictably, threatens any country that refuses to be subservient. Meanwhile, Xi Jinping has alluded that he'll still be around long after Trump is gone. We live in hope!

STV expects group revenue to be at the top of guidance of £165m-£180m, with adjusted operating profit in line with current consensus of £11.4m.

If STV can do this in a challenging environment, the ITV is on course to shoot the lights out IMO.
