The thing that gets me is that they are still drawing excessive part time salaries even though they have done nothing in 3 years.. Now what real business would or could do this. Everything that's wrong with the AIM is all over this company..IMHO

Might be to do with supply of equipment or managing finances ... or the supply of the gas turbines which means the schedule is being held back... after all, currently we haven't had confirmation that they have enough to gas to power any of it

Dewatering take as long as it takes..But they've adapted the design of the wells to try and speed this up..So hopefully not as long as it has been taking. There has been many false dawns over the years so it's no surprise that most are not being drawn in by a positive announcement.... but things are moving in the right direction and finances look to be being managed to create just-in-times progress..

Parsons couldn’t run a bath let alone a number of companies . His performance over the years in many guises all result in the same thing. Large salaries , wishy washy strategies and total failure in share price values. This leads me to one conclusion…. And yes it’s an obvious one .. IMHO

Keep an eye on the fundamental and why you invested in the first place and nothing has changed on that front....BOTS is just playing on the anxiety of time! Once up and running gas will be cheaper, cleaner and easier to maintain than coal power stations... More than enough demand to go round! even if the $1.5b power station ever gets off the ground

Parson and Dennan use the AST current account as if it's a broken cashpoint machine and keep returning monthly hoping that it hasn't been fixed> the whole operation has become a sham........100-1 then 65% fall in the new share price...... would you employ these guy's in your business..of course not ...no real business would>>>IMHO

For me ........The coal option is nothing new CBM is cleaner and closer to production and will be around for many many years once up and producing. HOPEFULLY..... As history has shown the Botswana government are all for the big initial promotion, then but seem to do very little to help progress of a projection. In truth the Southern Africa is desperate energy ( in this case electricity) so the market will keen to buy whatever is available.

Massive up front costs $1b .. probably unrealistic time frames .. reasonable long distance to transport the coal.. Dirty power and all of the problems that building infrastructure in Botswana brings .. I won’t hold my breath with this coming in on time or all atalk as we know a PPA ISN’t all it’s meant to be !

Yep the directors here are like a demolition ball wrecking everything in their paths.. Other than their ability to draw excessive salaries i don't see anything they have key skills or are any good at. They are also like limpet mines and hold on it the company implodes or is defused..Put it another way it never ends well for shareholders .......IMHO

I think this is a difficult time for raising finance across the business world let a lone Botswana? .... I guess the poles and wires were always going to hit a few hurdles on the way .. through a 100km. so not unexpected. The need for the substations is only required once the gas has been proven and the turbines have been installed so it's balancing act .. Getting the best use from the capital currently in hand is imperative. So Pod 6 is key to how this project progresses so here's hope for a positive and outstanding outcome! and the share price then should follow upwards! it's a game of patients as it's always been here !!!

I have to agree that all that is coming out of Tlou are very negative .... no mention of dewatering starting. No further on with the substation and being designed for 5mw initially then being ramped up to 10 mw . Can only think this is to keep finances under control. Also the rhetoric is less bullish RE: expanding from 10mw to 25mw as soon as finances allow bla,bla bla. No mention on finance going forward.. i know it's a quarterly update so written in past tense .. But very underwhelming if I'm honest. Comm's are terrible theses days and it shouldn't be,as things are creeping towards first revenues ,...hopefully
