Ron, again, please read my posts properly. I have invested what is to me a substantial sum of money and sincerely believe in the future developments that can be made by QBT otherwise I'd be out tomorrow. And I agree, short term targets of 10p 20p are feasible for investors looking at short term. As previously said, block chain is in it's infancy, all I'm saying is that long term goals for this technology have to include highly efficient energy usage, if that becomes a reality in say 5 to 10 years time and QBT are one of the players in achieving that then yes, all lth could be very rich but more importantly medical and other areas would benefit for everyone.
In summary, short term holders might double/quadruple their investment, lth (years rather than months) could do much better.
Whatever, these are innocent comments and can't be bothered with accusations of being a deramper or whatever, I thought this was a civil board. Hey Ho.

No where have I said anything about a 70% reduction overnight and no where did I say QBT could do it alone, I actually said that's a long term goal, it might not be QBT that does it, it might not be possible at all, but for block chain to have a future it's the least that's required. We can only hope quantum and AI can get us there sometime in the future for greater benefits than wannabe overnight millionaires!

By the way, I'm in at 2.45 so equally down and used up all my ISA allowance for the year on this but keeping the faith

Cards/bank transfers are the answer to that surely, can't see any relevance to digital money/blockchain.
Just to be clear, I'm backing QBT all the way, I just think the ultimate goal is far more than shaving a few percent off current energy useage, it's about making block chain technology accessible and economically viable in all areas of life, not just digital money.
If QBT can help do that there's greater things for everyone than purely some people making some big returns on their investments.

Don't think you understand the potential of what they are doing my friend. Ultimately they plan a complete new approach using quantum and AI. Unless blockchain can be done using reasonable amounts of energy it has no future, full stop.

I must admit I'm only hanging on to these shares in the hope something meaningfull comes out of this new R&D phase, some days I do think it's blind hope, QBT are going to have to develop something that gives at least a 70% saving on energy usage for any real impact due to the enormous amounts of energy still being required, even then the resulting energy usage may still be too high for mainstream adoption of block chain technology. I'm in for the long hall , I think you have to be realistic as to how long it can take for the radical developments that are needed rather than shaving a few % off the energy usage.
I believe QBT's game plan reflects this: some immediate small savings and actual mining will maintain interest, income and a reasonable SP followed hopefully by major developments in the next few years that will see QBT become a valuable contender in this area and a renewed global adoption of block chain technologies.
Just my thoughts and why I have a reasonable long term investment in them.

And what's your accusation based on Pictland, you got some inside knowledge on who the unnamed expert is? Is it possible that he is a leader in the field? I don't know but I'm sure you have no idea either so why the negativity??

Sorry Mr FG whilst I remain Ffaithfull to your intentions and ability to eventually deliver them I have little faith in you PR companies ability to drive and maintain sentiment in QBT stock. Today's RNS will only feed the keyboard experts etc. who either want to knock QBT or want instant reward when it is only too obvious you will need considerable time to build and deliver the AI and blockchain enhancements you believe are achievable. My only hope is that a bigger company doesn't leap frog theses enhancements in the meantime.

Come on guys, keep it real and relevant, I want to hear about balance views on QBT, both positive and negative, not personal insults that have no place here. I hoped we were all mature investors here but obviously there's a kindergarten sector too.

Explains slow rise in sp up to court case, obviously people would have known of the unfortunate death and the court process that would have resulted in. Just not fair being a lowly PI.

Chin up though, let's wait and see if FG has something ready to rescue this, he would obviously have known what the outcome would be and will have been preparing a remedial RNS on progress etc. Just as any good CEO would have done in this situation. (fingers and toes crossed!)

I also noted both websites are very similar in design so not a quite unique there and that QBT's has no facility for 'latest news' from what I can see, it would be nice just to have some news facility on there, even if it was just to make us shareholders feel we hadn't been forgotten, I'm not talking about the big RNS type news, just day to day matters to keep in touch, its nice to talk.
