Still holding on though, I tend to think (and hope) that they priorities R&D above replying to individual private investors.

Suthy/600, I'm thinking FG wants the sp to be at least double what he paying to buy them back to offset the amount he borrowed in the first place I.e. they will pay for themselves and by association pay his tax bill. That's why I think he has gone for 30 Sept but possibly still thinking sp of 5p by end of August.
Just my thoughts and based on nothing other than my thoughts.

I understand the frustration 22, I'd be happy them just mining in the short term to generate some income and protect the sp and our investments until we see what success they have with their R&D.

22 - I'm worried you don't realise what you're invested in. The RNS 27/09/2021 includes a table illustrating the various tranches of share options for the R&D team, I think there are 4 or 5 going on to 2026, this to me indicates QBT expect on going developments in their various methods over this time period. Yes we might get some early hits that have a considerable positive effect on the sp, possibly this year, but the bigger developments could take until 2026 or even longer. It depends what you are hoping for I suppose, 20p -50p could be feasible this year in my opinion but if QBT secure a patent that out performs others for operational quantum computers that may be available in the next 2-3 years who knows what the sp could be, possibly in £s depending on what else is out there, and that's what will make at what point to sell difficult, settle for the early success and be very happy or wait for the later successes and risk it going pear shaped. Nice dilemma to have, let's hope we all have it to face. Just to be balanced, there is the possibilty it goes pear shaped if QBT fail altogether, I myself have faith in them getting at least somewhere and mining in time which should at least protect my investment if nothing else.

Thanks 600, some very valid questions there, I also think because there's two or three RNSs referring to share options it gets a bit confusing, do later references add to or replace previous ones?

22 - I'm not sure what you want FG to do or say that's not required to be put in an RNS which we all know is at least a month away, traders will cash in their chips until nearer the possibility of an RNS, that's the nature of the game, you're either a trader or a LTH, can't be both but it's up to individuals to choose for themselves. I'm a LTH and know perfectly well the sp will reach unnerving lows until we hopefully reach potentially life changing highs this year, next year, whenever, either you're willing to wait and ride the storms or you take small profits as a trader. To think you're going to get those life changing highs in weeks is a bit naive in my own opinion.
Never invest money that causes you real anxiety when SPs drop, nothings worth that!

Sorry 600, my mistake, the team get tranches iof share options from now until 2026 RNS 27/09/2021. I still think FG intends to make their current tranche of options worth a tidy sum in payment otherwise he could loose them.
Similarly the expert will need a healthy sp now to enable his payment to be worthwhile and he'll be expecting a very healthy sum.

Just a thought - If 5p options expire next month and are intended to be payment for the R&D team and say a reasonable payment for a year's work is say £100k, FG must be thinking a sp of around 15p should be attainable by then (I'm assuming they get 1m shares options each?)

Credit where credits due Ltd., that's one of the best negative view pieces I've read, sounds and reads like a reasoned argument, apart that is from the fact that your reasoning is based exactly on the same principal you say QBT is a duff company i.e. pure speculation and lacking in fact, basically it is your biased point of view using selective points to back your argument whilst ignoring those facts that would argue against your view. Basically a hypocritical argument full of flaws but I accept everyone has their own view, just a shame a lot of them are based on thin air.

Thanks Addison - actually quite happy with that as if they had been mining bitcoin I was hoping to see reports of an anonymous miner being successful with much faster and efficient results, of which there hasn't been any reports as of yet.

thedude - not sure what you want FG to do about the current sp. World wide recessions, wars, inflation etc. aren't in his control unfortunately and that's what's caused the big drops here and just about every other stock. To his credit, FG has made it very clear R&D progresses well, NDAs with mega companies remain in place, lenders remain happy to lend and importantly he made it clear that testing will take until around the end of July.
I see nothing depressing about that but do understand frustration with global markets at the moment, the causes of which are affecting people's ability to buy food and keep a roof over their head, this is what's really depressing.

Thanks Suthy, I asked them two or three weeks ago if they could produce an idiots guide for each of their approaches in a simple read layout or table/chart and which left little to individual interpretation. Target dates would be difficult to be included but at least if simpletons such as me could see and understand their plans in clear concise format it might help generate more interest from investors?

It's too easy to become obsessive at times like this which is really unhealthy. If you're truly a lth, have faith in QBT and have honestly invested no more than you can afford to loose, put this in the bottom draw for now, set an alert for when it recovers to a better sp and get on with enjoying life, family and loved ones are the real riches in life so enjoy them! If this share comes good all the better.

Jez, not sure you're correct either, anything that does or can use blockchain falls within QBT'Ss remit and environment e.g. supply chains, currency, medical, pharmacy, security etc. etc. etc.

That was only 2-3 weeks ago. Soon for this extreme sort of development could be months not weeks, we need to keep some reality as well as the wishful thinking, months is still very exciting.
