Emails27 Jul 2022 09:59
On Monday I sent an email to QBT regarding three previous emails that had gone unanswered and asking if there was any way the website could be used to summarise latest positions reference published RNSs and articles not requiring formal notifications. The email was passed to CTW for reply and, with their permission, have copied it below for your information:
You email has been passed on to me by the company. In future, it is probably best to email me as Francesco and his team are incredibly busy working on the optimisation testing for the crypto mining, which I’m sure you will agree is more important than responding to every email he receives - and it is a lot.
As you will know the company is tied by the AIM Rules regarding what it can and cannot release to the market. A company on the LSE is not allowed to post messages to prop up the share price in between RNS, or when shareholders have lost patience.
I’ve seen many companies do this and never with any long term success, as only solid operation growth helps create a long term positive trend to a share price. The work the company is involved in now should provide this trend.
The company has registered your suggestion about posting articles on its website, but I’m not sure it has the personnel to maintain such an endeavour, nor would it’s Nomad allow it without rigorous checks.
Finally, I’m not certain when the next update will be released.
Kind regards,
