IMO the protected technology will be worth a lot more than actually mined bitcoin, if the technology proves as revolutionary as is hinted at.
Again, only my opinion but QBT could end up owning something miners, large and small, may need to successfully mine, imagine that!
All we can do is give QBT time to develope and protect it.

I'm not sure FG will be bothered what the sp is when he buys back at 3.15, all he'll be interested in is their future value, takes a slight knock in two weeks time for big gains in the future.

I would think FG will be concentrating on the court case at the moment and any RNS published in the next few days will pertain to that. Once this latest court event is out of the way attention will revert back to work in hand.
Just my thoughts.

I'm frustrated by the constant calls for an RNS as others are in this group, I'm happy to wait for the big news we all hope for and understand the size of tasl QBT have undertaken however, I do think it is reasonable to expect a new position statement given the fact that the latest suggested target dates have been and gone without any form of explanation as to why. Something along the lines of -
We had hoped that we would have been able to announce ....... by now but due to complicated NDA agreements, the need to test for longer, time required by partners etc. etc. it is now expected to be ........ before results will be available and therefore patents applied for. In the mean time we remain excited at the progress being made all be it slower than initially thought.
I don't know if that warrants an RNS or not but just something to keep their stakeholders in the loop.

Seems like stock market has been hit with a sizeable drop across the board this morning together with EU leaking documents against bitcoin and in favour of ethereum and a drop in bitcoin. Might be best for this to settle before any news?
I also tend to think this testing is a much bigger process than suggested and may take months to finalise, especially when working with major partners who won't be as responsive as a small company such as QBT. Personally happy with that though, this could be major for us holders as long as we appreciate the task in hand and the possible returns we could make.

Sorry, I need to ask a question which I'm hesitant to ask as it's not a positive one and may appear deramping but it's bugging me and I need an alternative answer to the one that's in my head:
Why do QBT need to extend the pay back date of circa £5m of zero bonds by two years if they are expecting to be mining bitcoin this year which should cover £5m easily.
Please be kind (but honest), I like a lot here have what is to me a substantial investment in QBT and so want them to be successful but need this nagging question put to bed.

I was really referring to FG's comment about their NDA agreements with chip designers/manufacturers who now need to catch up with QBT's developments and produce some prototype chips.

Waiting for industry to catch up, that's fine, I can wait.

What effect will a move to proof of stake from proof of work have on QBT's work? Just read about ethereum 2.0 going to proof of stake to massively reduce energy consumption but don't really understand the implications.
Any advice from those more knowledgeable on this board would be greatly appreciated.

Totally agree notready, QBT are playing a masterstroke and have multiple potential ways of bringing money in, I just think news of patents etc. whilst having some beneficial effect on the SP, won't provide the big jumps we are all anticipating until the tech they are protecting is actually being used. A bit pedantic I know as ultimately we will see £s if QBT deliver what they allude to.
