Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi - first post here - but know 1509 & John from other board. Have been invested a while and averaged down further today (still in large loss) on back of Tiburn's website. Not sure where people have been looking but the tab 'Table (1978 to current)' has the monthly production in it and agrees exactly to the Q2 and Q3 gross numbers - check them please.
So: April 38k, May 42k, June 48k, July 50k, August 62k, Sept 58k, Oct 58k.
It really is a brilliant find and we now know the first month of Q4. The reason I bought more is that it pretty much confirms the RNSs and while Art RNSing a peak number at end August wasn't clever I now believe we got back to that number as per recent RNS and that Nov likely to be similar to August (probably a bit higher) and Dec I think a decent chunk higher again. So sticking my neck out I'm going to say 200k for Q4 which is 30k more than Q3. But the confirmation of growth is key.
Yeah what a mess. When I saw the first RNS was really worried it was going to be at 15. As it was at 20 it must have been majority forward sold thank goodness, so that explains the recent drop and hopefully at bottom. But really need some good news very soon.
To an extent yes, but timing it not that easy, eg dmg underperforming bitfarm for me.
What’s your arb allocation? Did you increase it yesterday afternoon or this morning as you perceived this move? The really smart trader would have loaded up on arb at 8am after seeing the after hours us action. Anyone on here do that?
Chug, I know you don’t want to admit it but it’s just the rotation from over valued into undervalued miners. What most of us have been waiting for. Bitfarms also benefitting. Unfortunately I sold my bitfarm and bought dmg with it, which for some reason not doing so well today. Still 80% arb though so that’s doing well for me.
Jimmy - why on earth would anyone be short arb now?
Even chuz admitted the earliest he could see a placing was a couple of months away, so you have a free run until then looking for BTC close to 100k. Plus you have the new machines finally arriving (this is definitely in progress as confirmed by RNS). Plus you have the US investors getting onboard as they realise this is the cheapest play in the mid size firm section of the market.
Seems to me the only real risk for the next few months is BTC going down.
But would be cleaner just to short that if that was your view. Really wouldn’t want to be an arb short at present.
