@sharkyT intersting points,
I think people will travel relatively quickly given the right protocols put in place, its prudent not to underestimate the intrinsic motivations for people to travel. If precautions are in place I'd make an educated bet that people will see the rewards of travel greater than the risk and be eager to start moving around the globe again.
A grounded or docked fleet cost a lot lot less than a moving one, less staff, maintenance issues, zero fuel with chances to stockpile on cheap prices plus many docks are linked the gov (a few aren't) which means the actual fees for staying there could be negated.
The investigation into responsibility of spreading cases for Covid-19 should pale into insignificance compared to the spread due to slow and mis managed decisions of gov. (British, IMO)
Granted its a bit of a risk, but if in it for a long game surely a good buy?
I'd love it if WB freed up all his cash because they had asked him to come in and buy up the business, get rid of his airlines stock to buy cruises, I'm right in saying that Carnival has the monopoly on the seas right?
