I personally know people who have had it twice, herd immunity hmmmmmmm not sure on that one
I think they have done the same thing for GDR? I'm a bit confused around this can someone have a look and see if they thinks its the case. looks like a 109 SP at close but a 102 buy price? thoughts?
My sister and auntie are nurses and this is from them.
The method of nasal and throat swabbing is providing false data. The need to get deep into the throat, both sides, as well as far unto the nasal cavity is only being effectively administered by nurses. Few people are carrying this out themselves effectively.
The fact is a lot of these tests are being given to the public to do hoping that they carry out the method effectively. They are not. I've have one, its grim. I'd be interested to see who's actually had one?
The regions with the higher positive tests results are because the nurses or HCAs are administering the tests.
The need for a simplified and accurate test is (like a strip test) that the general public can't go wrong with is critical, the NHS can't keep testing an resetting everyone with accuracy because there just isn't enough manpower. People at home, work, travel hubs etc need to be able to do it themselves.
Now more than ever Avacta's method of testing has prevalence. The risk is still there whether it will come good but if you've DYOR and made your decision stick with it. If you don't back it then you know where the door is.

Added and bought down average nicely, looking forward to seeing what the new team do especially Ken the CFO that put jaguar Landrover in a strong profitable position.
Was it a strategic decision to pump out wholesale cars to the emerging markets to widen the brands catchement? Has this strategy back fired? I cant figure out what operational decisions have led to this downturn in performance.
Is basically how I see the issue. They tried to bring out an SUV??! They we making money before then tried to change what they were doing and went 'off brand' the new restructure of the company and the (although delayed) opening of the production factory will see the company back on brand returning to the classic supercar with the newer offering supercar running side by side.
as always DYOR IMO
stay safe
Just looked at his twitter account I get the impression of a very shouty, emotionally driven child who wants everyone to look at him whilst he screams and p**** himself in the carpark. Terrible person to follow for investment ideas
His website looks like he paid a four year old in a chocolate freddo to throw it together
I'm gonna watch CNN more just for her dreamy gaze and glistening white teeth
By Lunchtime........so through the morning spread COVID-19. Needs to be quicker results and cheaper test with less technician input. IMO
Scientists on the whole are task orientated along with process/mastery driven type B personalities.
Salesmen more ego orientated with outcome in mind type A personalities
Why do I state this?
Well it seems on the board this evening that a lot people were hoping for some sort salesman ego type reassurance that the outcome is going to be achieved and it was a walk in the park and started giving them S*** when they didn’t hear what they wanted???!!!
What was presented was a well constructed transparent (IMO) process driven presentation by scientists.
The job is being done, these people aren’t here to entertain us, there’s enough of you lot already on here to do that.
Nice reviews by a couple of you, nicely summarised @Canute40, @xxxyyyzzz Thanks guys
This is great news. A sensible approach to unlocking the airways again for business and pleasure.......e.g Ibiza ;-)
This will be a long recession, the likelihood of it being a depression is very slim. The fed banks and governments aren't trying to protect the gold standard any more like they were back then. Further to this huge amounts have been injected to combat deflation. The schemes in place to protect business are much more robust, there were none back then. Means of media marketing used to install consumer confidence is much more refined and highly exposed through technology. I would suggest doing some research on the causes of the great depression (there has been only one) there's been almost 35 recessions I believe, (don't quote me on that) the longest one was maybe 10 or 11 months. The world is not the same as it was back there and there has been a lot of development of fiscal understanding to protect global economies.
Although I agree we do need to be careful but in essence we should always be being careful and considerate.
Stay safe, don't panic
CSL? hang on is this a wind up........;-)
@bsinkers agree totally with the fact fundamentals have not changed, the country/world really needs to accelerate with testing and treatment (vaccine less important short term) in order for travel stock to become less volatile.
There is money to be made on the short/mid term. If I had read the news before I saw the decline I would have sold around the 1450 mark <> now I'm down on my weighted average so sit and hold, if it drops lower then a top up would be in order but for me I'd feel safer seeing the upward trend before I did.
Volatile times, stay safe
Would love to get all you lot on a zoom call podcast, I'm invested in Avacta and the investment is paying off purely on BB board entertainment. You lot are daily treat.
I'm holding out for the Big Pharma buy out that pumps the share price sky high (shall we say £150) then I'm going buy a really big boat and invite you all on it ;-)
This is a great long hold position but its going to be news sensitive and turbulent along the way! What will help when they get testing and treatment in place it will restore faith more robustly in all travel.
@milkmonsta, how many days have you been awake mate?
The next pandemic or virus outbreak that happens they have a structured set up they can tweak and manipulate allowing them to be responsive support in terms of testing and treatment. This isn't just about COVID19 its about the next COVID19 and a wider spectrum of treatments that carry the need to manipulate proteins as 'keys' and 'doors' in cell migration an blocking.
I'd like to point you to a brilliant podcast which may give you some reassurance about the need for testing, isolation, treatment and so on based around Covid 19 and the pandemic, I've found this very useful although may not be a pretty picture or words that are particularly comfortable to hear with regards to the speed in which the world returns back normal

This company is in a position to play a huge and pivotal role in provision of logistics and direction for the combat of current and future virus and disease, the capabilities of this set up and the way in which it can be utilise in the healthcare sector is massive.
I'm happy my day to day workload has been reduced its given me time to research over the last few months and this, without a doubt, is a diamond of a find. They type of thing you read about in the press or hear on the news when its too late. Hold tight and top up if you can.
Of course is IMHO only and DYOR
