Looks like a sell, which is interesting with all of the good news around.

So, it was almost commercial last year at 30bopd. They've now seen increased concentrations of oil and gas BEFORE the acid wash, so logically even without the pump you'd expect to see a meaningful increase (50bopd?). They're now using a pump, initially to get the wash fluids out, but this I presume will carry on for oil production - would this not suggest a level somewhere North of 100bopd could be achieved?

I33: So, the price is determined by the amount that buyers are willing to pay and what sellers are willing to let their stocks go for. Buying/selling pressure, supply and demand etc. That's the more important point. If I wanted to sell my holding at 1p right now, do you think I'd be able to?

Can't see much change tbh. With MATD, the market will want to see confirmed good news...i.e. H2 actually pumping oil at a known BOPD. Just IMO though....lets see.

Is that 100%, rather than the 99.99% we were last week?

In other news, I see our morning buyer must be very bullish....£10.08 worth purchased today, rather than a round tenner. Every little helps...

Gadgie - are you reading my mind?! Was just about to say that it could also be at the request of a potential Farm-out partner. Who knows, but hopefully we will get some good news soon - there's still the H1 electrification status and tax issue resolution to announce, as well as the much discussed progress on renewables.

Here's a thought for you all...

The 2025 work schedule clearly said H2, then Gazelle, then Gobi. Why then would the satellite show no movement on Gazelle, but movement on Gobi?

To me (and I may be wrong), this may indicate that they are running out of time and want the "biggest bang for their buck" (pun intended) before having to stop before Winter....however if H2 was a failure then they'd go for whatever has the greatest chance of success next (Gazelle), so they've at least got some good news to come to the market with. The fact that they've gone from H2 to Gobi (by the looks of it anyway) tells me that they've had success at H2 and they've thought "sod it, we're running out of time, we've got H2 in the bag so might as well go for gold with Gobi...if it doesn't work then so be it, it was always a long shot anyway".

Just my thoughts, what do you lot think?

With all this good news we should see some spectacular buying today and for the rest of the week.

The black dots are pools of oil because there's now uncontrollable amounts of oil gushing out at unprecedented levels. Same to come with Gazelle and Gobi hopefully!!

CV7Blue: What 2 big buys?

According to the Schedule in the presentation of 30th July, the Gazelle-1 well test should be nearing completion and the Gobi Bear-1 well test should be commencing anytime now. I note that Dan on the Telegram Group/X said that there had been "minor movement at Gobi yesterday", looking at the satellite images.... If they are behind on this schedule I hope they do still have time to complete all of the work, although as I've said previously, I think a decent Heron 2 and Gazelle will be enough to increase confidence and also help push forward Farm-out talks.

Gadgie, I'll be very pleased to just see us back over 1p this week!! I do hope your 2.5p is closer to the mark though, but I think we have a "sentiment" issue to overcome at the minute, due to recent set backs and subsequent raise. Hopefully good news with H2 will see us well over that 1p mark and then a successful Gazelle towards the 1.5p mark. Any other decent news with payments with obviously help the SP too, but more than that, any and all flow of good news should help to generate more much-needed positivity towards the stock. I'm not really expecting anything good from Gobi, and I'm glad MB has managed expectations accordingly, but hopefully a decent H2 and Gazelle alone will be enough to get us a decent Farm-out deal. And who knows, Gobi could be a nice surprise after all.
