MrC - silence is clearly due to the fact there's a £10bn takeover in the offing with the appropriate NDAs in place.
...or it could be the fact that last years' message wasn't well received by SH (rightly so for the most-part) so they've canned the idea this year.
More patience needed, hopefully news is not far off. In the meantime there's small nuggets of positive information being unearthed by learned members on here, which is encouraging and always appreciated.

My non alcohol-fuelled predictions:
Early Jan - regresses back to 3.6p awaiting news
Signature news arrives on 24th Jan - SP spikes to 7.3p
Drops back to 6p, then hovers around this point until...
More RNSs in March/April (workover, oil flowing) jumps it 2-3p each
Works it's way upto 13-14p over summer as production increases.
Just a fun guess...and hopefully a bit pessimistic. I do think talk of 30p, 60p etc is very optimistic, but here's hoping!!
Curveballs like cash raises or the formidable list of potential positive events listed by WOS and Hamm also not taken into account in my predictions, so these could make things more interesting.
Anyway happy new year all and here's to a nice profitable 2024 :-)
Very kind DocD, many thanks. Barring unforeseen circumstances we'll be at the AGM again next year to get any updates, question the BOD and meet with other long-suffering shareholders, many of which are genuine and very knowledgeable.
As Doc83 says, this is one of the better boards on LSE. Even the most negative and bitter still raise a smile with their humour sometimes, so Merry Christmas to all and let's hope 2024 is as positively pivotal for the company as we all hope.
Radika - I believe the company has got a very bright future. I also believe that Santa will be turning up at my house on Sunday night with a pair of nice Ferraris for me and the missus and a cure for my relentless sarcasm.

Cybertron, FWIW my personal SP ranges upon the "signature confirmed" RNS are as follows: Low 6p, Med 9p, High 12p. I'm being cautious and expecting 6p so anything higher is a bonus. Ultimately no one knows...the market could delay the biggest re-rate until the "there's oil flowing!!" RNS or the signature alone may be enough to send it stratospheric. Either way, we should see some rise from here but standard rules apply...only commit what you can afford and remember that anything could happen, even an unexpected negative curveball (shortage of pens in Mongolia, preventing the governor from signing etc etc :0) )

Hamm, I can see this dropping back slightly today and carrying on slowly downwards until we get the next RNS. I do of course hope you're right and I'm wrong...you could well be, as we did hit 7p+ in May on nothing more than anticipation. Either way, this weeks' RNS was extremely welcome to calm the nerves, and hopefully the "big one" really isn't too far off now...
All IMHO. ATB & GLALTH.
From the interim results, September:
The Company's cash resources are sufficient to cover its plans to design and establish data from an observational study and two investigator-led/Synairgen-sponsored Phase 2 clinical trials, including manufacture of active and placebo for use in these trials. Regardless of the outcome of these activities, which are uncertain, the Company's available resources are sufficient to cover existing committed costs and the estimated costs of these activities until at least 30 September 2024, being a period of at least twelve months from the date of this report and, for this reason, the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.
I think you're right. The sheer frustration here is palpable. Look at the header (if I dare to use that phrase)...a serious situation; people dying...and yet this incompetent country seemingly can't sign a piece of paper to help get 200M barrels of oil out of the ground. Beggars belief.
Anyway, agree with the sentiment of lets try to play nice and hopefully we'll all be rewarded sooner rather than later.

You never know Thornogson. I do seem to recall a similar SP change (drop in this case) on the Friday prior to the bad Velociraptor news RNS, so hopefully this recent rise does signify an upcoming positive RNS "any day now!!!" (just put that phrase to keep WOS happy). Guess we'll just have to wait for that little red dot...
Anyway, good luck to all involved in this stock - we deserve it for the patience shown.
My personal expectation for the next substantial RNS is January-February. Based on nothing more than managing my expectations so I'm not disappointed when I log in each morning and there's a lack of "red dot".
Hope it will be sooner...it could be a lot sooner. Even "any day" as WOS likes to tell us :-) Hopefully it will come at some point though and will be as positive and fruitful as we all hope. In the meantime I've got plenty of other frustrating stocks to help divert my attention from this one!

Agree Doc. If the Mongolians can't unblock this regulatory/red tape/"appease the locals" pipe in order to release hundreds of millions of barrels of oil, at a time when the country is facing crippling fuel shortages, then they really are beyond incompetent..
At the risk of sounding like WOS (!) - hopefully not too much longer to wait now.

Here's a quick example I found whilst quickly googling at work, Surfer - a recent agreement between Quell therapeutics and Astra-Zeneca. Nice figures: $85M upfront and over $2 BILLION in further milestone payments PLUS potential royalties and further payments/royalties etc for U.S. sales.
Something similar would be OK for Synairgen I'd guess...
----
Financial considerations
Quell will receive $85 million upfront from AstraZeneca, which comprises a predominant cash payment and an equity investment. Quell is also eligible to receive over $2 billion for further development and commercialisation milestones, if successful, plus tiered royalties.
In addition, Quell retains an option, which can be exercised either after approval of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application or at the end of the Phase I/II clinical study, to co-develop Treg cell therapies from the T1D programme with AstraZeneca in the United States in exchange for additional milestone payments and increased royalties on US net sales.

So from that, we can infer that when RM calls for a meeting with these 2 special shareholders to tell them nothing is happening, actually the reverse is true? Please do let us know when the next meeting is called.
