Dick Bove, sounds a genius...if a recession happens banks are dead.
A recession or worse will happen. What will spark it is anyone's guess. Have no doubt it will turn into a debt crisis, consumer, corporate, and sovereign. CBs will have limited impact next time around. Assets will tank, liquidity will dry up and most likely be much worse and last longer than the financial crisis of 08.
Today's buyback prices could look very expensive in the future, that goes for many corporates not just Lloyds. Buying at markets tops or near tops in overvalued markets won't end well. QE induced phoney growth will evaporate hitting bottom lines - then watch out below.
