**Yes**, Ecovelex—a bird-repellent seed treatment developed by Eden Research (in partnership with Corteva Agriscience for earlier versions)—has been approved for use in Italy.

It received its initial temporary approval in December 2023 under EU Regulation 1107/2009 for corn (maize) seed treatment during the 2024 growing season. This was extended with further approvals for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, allowing ongoing commercial sales to protect crops from bird damage using plant-derived, non-toxic ingredients. These authorizations provide farmers with a sustainable alternative to phased-out chemical options, and full EU-wide approval is still in process.

After many years of holding these shares, I sold the lot yesterday. I really couldn't see any chance of either a dividend or a profit. I made quite a loss, I guess, but enough is enough. I thank you all for your humour, sarcasm, criticism and sometimes downright rudeness. My cash is now in a safer place.

I expect better results this time as early sales of approved products are sold for use on 2024 crops.

As a long-term investor, the last thing I expected was an offer to sell my shares at a loss in the hope I could buy back 2 or 3 weeks later at a lower price. My only question is why we weren't offered a simple dividend.

I didn't sell any shares, and I guess my reward is a slightly higher SP.

Just over a year ago, I was delighted to hear the shareholders would get a special dividend of 10-12p from the Samsung payout. A year later, I didn't get a divi and my shares are worth much the same.

What happened?

Think l’ll hang on to my holding. I get the feeling that the insiders have timed all this to benefit themselves. I would have liked a straight forward dividend. Selling now at 24p - who knows? What the SP will be by the time that money lands on my account.

I'm a very long time investor (13 years now). When SP was low I bought a few more and my average is now 34p. If I sell now or accept the tender I lose.

Nanoco have £60 m in the bank and I still don't have any kind of dividend. Current SP is close to the tender offer. I have two questions

1. If a few or no-one takes up the tender what happens to the £40m?

2. As the Samsung money is effectively profit is corporation tax payable?

I understand the earnings report is due next week.

As this will include the settlement and may affect the SP. Can someone explain why the board released the tender offer before releasing earnings. Smoke and mirrors??

As I read through the offer and the two options, I thought this was not for me until I realised there was a third option - do nothing and retain all shares.
