George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I agree. They seem like proper people; time will tell, but at least I no longer feel like I'm about to be screwed over. I have no issue with them each having a track record of having built and sold businesses. We'll see, what the dilution brings, but I feel a bit better today than I did a few weeks/months ago.
Can't seem to find it - probably operator error - but the one I'm in seems to be well supported.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I joined Dev Clever in Telegram Messenger. Someone called Tobysku was the last poster and someone called Seventh Heaven has just joined after me.
Barnard, Daramuda, and all...I've joined the Telegram group; thanks for the heads up. I already have a warm fuzzy feeling from reading something upbeat. It will help me through this.
I think this point is crucial for many of us small shareholders. Holding shares in a private company will be very difficult without news updates and RNS' and for me, and many others I suspect, this chat board has been of great use.
I still own shares and I think my approach is to hold and see what the plan is. This delisting is the beginning of something; it might be good...it might be dreadful. I don't know.
What I do know is that I'm hurting. There are some big hitters involved, the products seem to be very popular, we have protection of the Takeover code (not sure how great that is but it provides a grain of comfort).
I would like to join any Twitter or Whatsapp group or even another chat on here, until there is at least some clarity.
We deserve better.
Devastated this morning. A question...
I hold my Dev shares in my SIPP and presumably they will have zero value as they are no longer tradeable on a listed exchange and I don't thnk I can hold shares in private companies in my SIPP, but even if I can, I am thinking that I can buy them from my SIPP for say £1 and hold them in my own name until "something" happens and perhaps I can see value one day.
Before I begin talking to the SIPP bods, does anyone know if that sounds do-able?
Yes, this bit seems sensible...
If there was some bad news and anyone privvy to the info sold it would be deemed insider trading surely?..
Oh well...tick tock...
Someone on here will know...If a company's shares are suspended, do they still have to issue an RNS if "something" happens, which in the normal course of events, would have triggered one?
Or, can they issue a news RNS with loads of good stuff, when they issue one to say that they are coming out of suspension on a given date?
If we cannot trade, why do they need to tell anyone anything?
Just asking.
My Dev mood meter is currently set at equilibrium as I'm both excited and fed up at the same time.
Every ittle helps.
Scardey...grateful for you sharing your research, as I'm sure many others are.
Interesting. I'm a small investor and I have no influence on anything to do with Dev except my own holding. I've been in for years not months and I'm sitting with a 5p average. This wasn't ever going to be an in and out grab, this was an investment. What has annoyed me most is the lack of comms and the late filing of the annual report, but with those things aside, I haven't read anything that particularly worries me. I don't pretend to understand all of the warrants business, but I'm grateful for others on here that share their views and opinions.
I get that some will be frustrated at all that has gone on and being deprived of liquidity, but I don't plan to sell any on re-listing. In my opinion, the excitement is just about to begin...why would I want to leave now?
Yes, but the "mechanic" has promised you a full diagnostics report on your car in the next week or so. Something to read on the bus!
It's just interesting to hear anything!
Good of you to reply. Thanks.
Best,
Wicket.
I'm a LTH here and in for the long haul, but I don't have any experience of holding a share that is suspended, albeit I've seen a few and they end with a variety of outcomes. The RNS states that the listing of the shares will be suspended - I get that. Then it says the existing listing will be "cancelled" and the shares will be "re-admitted". That sounds like a significant event/change. Is that normal language in these situations?
I'm not looking for scare stories; just want to understand a bit more and would welcome opinion from those that might know more about this type of situation.
Thanks.
I think the Common Service Centre phase 1 trial will report somewhere towards the end of August and isn't there still something bubbling that has an NDA linked to it??
Have you had your 'invite' yet?
Hi, I emailed Buchanan on March 8th to get an invite for April 6th's capital markets presentation. Haven't heard anything from them...has anyone else?
