Are your paymasters becomiing concerned about how close things are getting to them? Tell them to get used to it, it's going to get a lot hotter for them before this is finished.
If any shareholder or interested party in Afren PLC can provide any factual information of any event involving the company that they feel should be reported to the regulatory authorities or has unnecessarily damaged the value of the company, please can they collate the information and forward it accordingly
I think you may be waiting a long time for mid 30's.
Fine thanks Buller. I've heard nothing, and I've not bothered asking to be honest. Strange signals at the moment. The company seem to have instituted a minor recruitment freeze again after some relatively agressive recruiting over the past few months.
I suspect the company is lobbying hard to provide travel arrangements for various teams. They have close relationships with several national squads, Germany being a case in point, and I'm sur they will be looking to capitalise on these links.
HRG has been orgainising the german football teams travel for at least 4 years that I know of. They did the last world cup and the last euros.
Just came across it? Admit it, you saw it on the internal connect site didn't you? There are a couple of people near where I sit that say hello by the way.
Radcliffe is appearing on the bottom line with Evan D this week.
Just won CSFB in Middle East and North Africa. Still seem to be gaining market share at the expense of the competitors.
Don't get me wrong please, personally I am undecided. We've only heard abuot it this morning and you colonials :-) are apparently not being expected to take any more hit. This is meant to be primarily a UK initiative. I will be thinking over the weekend and doing my financials before deciding anything.
All true Jandi, but there are quite a lot of unhappy people here right now. More than one are asking how some directors were able to be awarded shares when they then ask staff to take pay cuts. Quite a number are saying they are likely to take the 'do nothing' option.
Of the urgent communication from Radcliffe this morning asking people to take a pay cut, sabatical or redundancy? Some people are not happy right now.
Despite AMEX being described as a credit card company they are in fact anything but only that. The troubles at AMEX, with the announcement on the pension last week, could be apresager to more to come from them. If they start closing offices and getting rid of travel consultants then HRG could be in a good position to pick up some clients from them.
Actually not holding too many in hrg. I made the initial mistake of buying high thinking the company was fundamentally sound and worth more than 40 pence. Eventually I averaged down to apprx 25 pence and currently am holding for 50 or so. I still believe that the underlying business is totally sound, client retention is massive and far outweighs the competitors. Our product is still technically superior and has been for years if you remove the smoke and mirrors of the likes of amex and cwt. 50 will make me a happy man who can have an other beer to celebrate. :-)
We lowly general employees are busy working and making the company more profitable to talk about how to do it to the directors. I leave that to the managers who have enough spare time.
I work with several of the directors and when we talk we usually talk about football or the like. We certainly don't discuss the share price except in the most general terms.
A lot of the employees are sitting at work today enjoying the weather and the money to help pay off their mortgages. Some are sitting on 100,000 bought at 4 pence.
Why this has suddenly started moving? There's been no announcements other than additional listing and voting rights for months.
