Another poor PI robbed blind by the BoD and II's of an AIM company. Why on earth do any of us bother with AIM, well over 50% of the companies and directors here are basically modern day robber barons.

Have shown up this morning in my IWeb account. 1 share per 25 previous as in the announcement. Of course no price and no other information but they do appear to have been issued.

AIUI AIM rules state the investment must be made within 6 months. According to the company website "The Company will be required to make an acquisition which constitutes a reverse takeover under Rule 14 of the AIM Rules within the following six months". Not sure what happens if they fail to though, AIM rules don't seem to specify what happens in that case.

I've just spoken to IWeb and they have not had any update from OPL as to when the shares will appear. There is no point calling Oxford Pharmascience as the telephone number just goes through to an automated answering service that says 'the operator is not available, leave a message'. Does anyone have a contact number for OXP other than 020 7554 5875 as we can't now even see historical documents for OXP and I've not saved any of them.

Thanks KungFu. From my reading of the original documents the OXP shares were to be traded on a matched-market basis, does anyone know if this is correct? If so then OXP will be a pain to sell, I hold Cafe Direct and Triodos Renewables and they are buggers to try to shift. Hopefully OXP will instead make billions of pounds profit, give me thousands of pounds in dividends and then either sell themselves or float again

But it's tiny volumes. No-one seems to be selling so if it is a 'lucky guess' then if anything i wonder if the mm's are trying to shake the nervous into selling in advance of buying news? But I have no real idea and am just pondering, I have no inside knowledge so as always dyor.

EM and R999. I will likely hold as I've essentially written this value off anyway. Shame, as a gout sufferer I was really REALLY hoping the naproxen reformulation would let me start using them like smarties to ease the pain :-)

i'm now 43% down and wondering wtf to do here. Cut my losses or hold and hope the shell may do something worthwhile. I am beginning to seriously dislike AIM.

This was seriously over-sold on the earlier news and is now moving back to where it should always have stayed imo.
