What are you thoughts on the RNS dated 4th August, and whether, in the event of success in Brazil, any “dovetailing” with these CRO’s/this Expedited Developed Plan could occur?

LazyPunter. I get the gist of your post, but I really must take issue with your opening gambit regarding the Trial.
A Phase 2 trial generally involves several hundred people and can take anything from 6 months to 2 years to complete (under normal circumstances). It is totally unrealistic to expect TILS, who only realised in June (4 months ago) that Foralumab was a possible treatment for COVID to do any more than they have done.
This Trial is Brazil is a “proof of concept” trial which, if successful will prove that Foralumab can be used a treatment for Covid, will show that MAb’s (for the first time ever) can be administered nasally, and will also derisk the Phase 2 trials arranged for Q1 & 2 next year to treat other diseases in Tiziana’s pipeline.
If successful, Big Pharma (and probably Governments) will get involved very quickly and a larger trial will be fast tracked.

To suggest that this trial is “pathetic” is utterly ridiculous, shows a complete lack of research (which you claim to be all about) and is completely disrespectful to the TILS BoD. imo.

Also, for clarity, the trial in Brazil is proof of concept trial which was put together at very short notice. It’s very unfair to say it “lacks ambition” because if it’s successful it will be a company maker and massive inflection point.

Y-Alam, wtf has this possibly got to do with the BoD. This has nothing to do with them.
I’ve said before, they have done everything by the book!!

The reason the SP is where it is is partly due to a drop after the Demerger, but mostly to do with the fact it is being royally fked with on both sides of the pond. There is nothing the BoD can do about either of those things!!

Hi Y-Alam. Apologies if I dismissed your suggestion before. I don’t recall doing so. I do think that a TILS buy out is more of a nearer term possibility NOW however, due to the Brazil Trial.
This is a proof of concept trial, with COVID front and centre, and right now there is nothing bigger or more important. EVERYONE will be watching.

3 reasons I can think of immediately.

1) At this point it’s TILS calling the shots and they decide what’s for sale and what isn’t.
2) The reason Stem is being split off is because it’s not being valued within the business, so why would TILS want to give it away free
3) Big Pharma might not be interested in Stem, as like TILS, it’s not their main focus.

Just a thought/starter for 10, but what if the company that’s under more threat from a buy out is TILS and NOT AccuStem??

I have always thought StemPrinter was being demerged in order to facilitate a clean buy out/sale and to achieve the best possible price, but what if it’s Tiziana that’s being courted (you know, the company with the 5 NDA’s) and AccuStem is just being Demerged as GC & SK’s next project.

I’m not saying anything is imminent, but IF Brazil trials are successful, Big Pharma will be all over TILS like a nasty rash.

JohnHenry. What’s your take on the disparity between U.K. and US? Any thoughts?

I don’t understand how, with both markets trading from the same pot of shares as, Daveyracer says, how a sell off in the UK (if that is what this is) which creates a 12% drop in the UK, can possibly lead to 6% increase and a 20% disparity in shares price with the US, even if ex entitlement date has passed in one of the locations.

It really is a dreadful site!!

That’s obviously what kicked off the rise on Nasdaq at 4.30pm. Still trading at about £1.55 over there so hoping for a good day tomorrow. If that holds we should see a good move up here in the morning imo.
