I think what we should be disturbed about is that we now have proof that any of the directors would be allowed to buy if they wanted to. They're sitting fid out by choice.

The 2023 rns specified that this was a bed and ISA. Doesn't necessarily mean they'd write it the same way today.

She could just be rebalancing. This has done really well and she might be newly free to sell or just shaken by the volatility

This looks more like a delay than an outcome. They appoint new arbitrators and try again, probably with the same decision given the original unanimity. Rkh still gets the 31m today, tomorrow's settlement is then adjusted down by the 31m which they no longer lost. We might even still be earning interest; interest would normally be calculated from the date that the harm was done. The insurance was specifically for the risk of an annulment of this one decision within the whole process, not for the end result. I could be wrong, but I topped up.

We've got a couple of wild cards with this new CEO and with Trump. We might get a buyback. Deepseek might turn out to be a good thing; larger volumes of cheaper chips could mean more factories and it could prompt more tariffs and more onshoreing. We have a very low valuation which is largely based on unnecessary rationing. This situation will end because nobody makes money from it. There will be a face-saving workaround such as migrant-driver application fees paying towards the wall. We might get relisted in the US, especially if the UK shakes up AIM as it's been talking about. And then there's Regent which bought a larger initial % stake here than they did in Tclarke despite SOM being the larger mcap. If they stake build SOM at the same rate they did Tclarke we'll get a holdings RNS in Feb. We have plenty of cash to wait out the hiccups.
