Ovets - my message, when posted three minutes after yours ( "Will Durrant strike?") coincided with appearance of yours - pure chance. Needless to say, if Durrant is prepared to be ruthless, he should indeed strike. Then they got the FI to themselves and are free to bring in a substantial partner.

I find Sam's wording odd. We all know 2019 is going to be a big year one way or the other. When he says "...but with activity ramping up during 2019 ahead of the formal loan application" what does he mean by "AHEAD" - is something going to happen within the next couple of weeks?

Wording is so important in an RNS of this type.

That's correct. I was surprised to see such a firm reversal of opinion at IC, now Sell.

The reason given is expiry of licence within 12 months and FID not before year end.

Rpoodle - I cannot see the update you mentioned declared for 10th January on PMO's "financial calendar" on their website. Did you get this date directly from the company, please?

Biffadog-thanks for your prompt response. I am in PMO and RKH with a shareholding that justifies taking action on your suggestion (to speak to the companies). Therefore I will try and speak to MacDonald next week.

You are one of the few sensible posters on this board and I for one believe what you say.

FalklandInvestor - you say "the risk of holding RKH/Bor/FIH same ae holding Argos."

IMHO the risk of holding FIH is as low as it gets for an equity - minute compared with the other companies you mention.

Much - nothing new, so relax.
IC point to existing cash, steady income from Med plus upcoming Italian lawsuit as reason that RKH can hang on "until PMO press the go button". They seem to think FID mid next year (i.e. six month delay) but maybe they are confusing that with sanction.

They have retained their buy rating at 38.4p

How can they "strengthen balance sheet" (as stated in recent presentation without doing a placing/equity raise?

I notice that Investors Chronicle (yesterday and reiterated today on the daily email to subscribers), which has previously had a "Buy" recommendation, shows this recommendation as being "under review".

Presume we will get information on this lessening faith in due course.
