Whilst its very apparent we a polar opposites in our views regarding the board, you've kind of highlighted my point for me.
These abstracts seem fairly significant, there's six of them (i.e. lot) and they are being presented at one of the biggest industry conferences, so an RNS highlighting not only the abstracts but just Scancells attendance would have piqued interest im sure. As you say lots of other bios do regularly RNS such news. There's not even a solitary tweet about them. I would have had no idea about this had it not been flagged on here.

But basically, the board should be promoting/releasing news like this...IMO.
But if they busy with tie up talks,signing deals/collabs etc, fair enough, but otherwise it's poor IMO.

What does the IPO and its valuation (potentially) mean in the context of Scancell, and Scancells future relationships/tie-ups with Biontech?

But (semi) joking aside... 4(?) x Scancell abstracts , Biontech/Genentech i.e. the Project Blueprint team all there, the recent announcement of Avidimab and others wanting the tech (we assume) etc...a great time to release more news, no?

I like to think i'm a fairly balanced poster on here, if see something positive/interesting I will post it, some would say some of of my posts are positively rampy. But likewise I will post if see something negative, have a negative opinion i will post it also.

Yes I can see why you like this comment, and yes it is significant, but it's not in anyway impartial. It's a great soundbite for an AGM.

The issue is not the science here at all, i don't think it ever has been IMO, the issue is the boards ineffectiveness/ineptitude/ inability and lack of foresight for getting commercial traction (so far)...again IMO. (p.s. a lack of foresight in general too)

What matters here for pure investors (like me) is deals, up front payments, commercialisation etc.

But going back to your quote I am re-assured that Vuples are here though, their record seems incredible for picking winners and they WILL want (nee demand) a return on their investment.

And also interestingly the proper first commercial action (Avidimab and the LARGE unnamed pharma) happened after Vulpes involvement, coincidence? Maybe, but Vuples will want to see things get done IMO, and give the BOD a much need kick up the backside...IMO.

My command of the English language needs more work clearly, but just re-read what I posted - "COULD" is the key word, i.e. so could/still/yet receive "significant upfront and milestone payments" in the FUTURE.

I was just reading my own last post back "Nottingham Trent/Durant/Mabs/Avidimab"(Today 06:14). And it just made me realise, Scancell have:
- Immunobody
- Moditope
- Avidimab
Each in their own right potentially worth 100's of millions if not billions commercially, and yet here were at 7p/£35million odd market capitalisation.

Now surely an even half competent board of directors would have got some commercial traction by now! It's actually almost a joke.

It's akin to being as talented a footballer as Messi but turning up late to play a match! I.e. what a complete waste of talent/wares.
