Thanks Rick, that makes sense now. I was hoping the timing of it meant something, but yes I see it ties into Avidimab and it's trademark. Makes you wonder why the didn't trademark Scancell for Moditope/Immunobody? But I guess that may be because Avidimab has progressed very rapidly and is/has being courted by external 3rd parties already?

@c7 - Yep very quiet on Twitter lately, hopefully because they are too busy rather than not wanting to share useful info.

P.s. never got back any suggestions as to why "Scancell" the name was trademarked and more why it was done fairly recently?

Is trademarking a company name normal? Well i should I say is it normal for a small under the radar bio company? I thought trademarks really only applied to products/services that a company produces?

Just thought I'd have a quick look to see if any new trademarks (as last time when Avidimab was announced), nothing new tech-wise (i think?) but interestingly though they registered "Scancell" as a trademark back in June?

If Biointech are looking to "acquire" Scancell tech then maybe the IPO windfall is key to that strategy i.e. how they were intending to finance it??
But yes that's just speculating on speculation, but the BOD haven't given us much else to go on have they! lol

It that quote has come from the horses mouth then yes, maybe Scancell will be seeing some of this IPO money! Seems almost logical doesn't it?

FYI there's definitely been a 1 trade and Scancell releasing an RNS the following day, i happened earlier this year but cant remember for which RNS. Although that was late in the afternoon if i remember correctly. So i fully expect a mid afternoon RNS :)

Despite first patient dosing news being significant news, we know that for some bizarre reason good (and sometimes great) news seems to do little to Scancells SP i.e. a muted market reaction. Will dosing news be different do we think?

I should have added this to my previous post, but are Scancell attending ESMO19?

To give credit to McBlue, had he not nagged them on Twitter we'd probably all be non the wiser as to why no mention of the abstracts...so far.

Although saying that, I think someone on here did mention that abstracts arent disclosed until the day they are shared with all. I think the impatience has come from thinking today is the abstracts day, when in fact it is tomorrow/Fri.

(P.s. is McBlue also goosed?)
