I am also in the camp that thinks (rightly or wrongly) that the financial world takes it easier over the summer especially in August. Including companies perhaps sitting on data that shall we say needs "refining" or "finalising". Some kind of gentlemen's agreement perhaps? Also I'm sure scientists, CEO's, CFO's, staff and board members take summer breaks too.

So, as hinted by others, I feel the interest/fun could start next week IMO.

I keep saying it, if huge pre-clinical deals can go through, then surely early data can be more than enough for big bio to make their move.

Why would big pharma wait? For what exactly? It's data they need is it not? Genuine question. Once the have the data they can pull the trigger can they not?

And if multiple parties are interested (which is a safe assumption) and I was one of those interested, I would not risk losing out. And sure surely NDA's are place with parties?

Oh and don't forget the all important patent cliffs.

Saying all that, huge pre-clinical deals also show big bio will pounce if they want to regardless.

I think we need the old posters who also attended AGM's years back to confirm RG said something alluding to actual deals.

I'm sure posters on here have attended AGM's and been told in person by Richard Goodfellow and possibly Lindy Durrant that they have recieved offers? Can anyone concur?

We certainly didn't recieve any RNS's about those. So I'm not sure if the do always let the market know? Maybe it has to meet specific criteria first?
