Some excellent posts by Chilltime on the other forum atm. One of these IMO is this observation RE the recent SP increase, it "did" seem to coincide with Redmile appointment to the board. and IMO It's only taken a breather becuase of the standard reaction to a "good news" recent Scancell RNS.

I need to pay more attention when reading RNS's, but the plural of pharmaceutical companies and commercial enterprises is very interesting. Hence potentially competitors in the same room?

Btw, probably not important but I for one find it hard to believe this esteemed panel were stood around the poster on their feet discussing it for three hours. Surely a meeting venue was (hastily or not) arranged?

Agree, if according to yesterday's RNS they liked what they saw as much as they claimed, then surely a preemptive strike of sorts is more than feasible?

Were there parties from different, competing bios in the panel I wonder?

@Konar, I was more inferring an almost deliberate attempt to put a dampener on the accelerating SP? The big buyer still wants more etc?

My point is why is taken this long to mention this? Why mention now?

To add to this am I the only one thinking this is an odd RNS to put out? Whilst the panel of guests mentioned are very esteemed and significant, isn't the whole point of these conferences to have such discussions? Why mention this one when you'd think similar discussions have happened before? Simply that it was such a significant discussion? My point is, is this actually RNS'able?

As GF also mentioned long term holders know that Scancell RNS's seems to have an inverse effect on the SP no matter how good. Interesting timing? The conspiracy theorist in me must just be more paranoid than normal perhaps.

Always good to be mentioned in mainstream media, but Scancell have been mentioned before. This to me seems like something else IMO.

From BBC earlier:

"The London Stock Exchange says it's working as normal - but says there are problems with its RNS (regulatory news service).

"RNS news service is currently experiencing a third party global technical issue, preventing news from being published on www.londonstockexchange.com," the statement says."

Wonder if an RNS was lodged but because of the issues it's not been revealed yet?

I should have highlighted the following line also:

I think the article will or already has been published in the money section of the The Mail website. I'm pretty sure the link mentions The Mail+. I assume This Is Money and The Mail are under the same umbrella and share articles.
