DRAMMEN: Moberg served as CEO of Edda Media from 2007 to 2009. In the time it was speculated that Edda Media was sold to A-press. Later Edda Media Northwest with Sunnmørsposten and Romsdal Budstikke sold to Polaris Media. Drammen Tidende, the largest media house in the Edda Media. Pick-sale Moberg believes it can now happen as a result of David Montgomery's announced departure, is a self-pick sales. In Mecom, and perhaps also in the Edda Media, writes journalisten.no. - The shareholders would probably to get back their money, and then Mecom probably split up and sold, piece by piece. I'm not saying it will happen, but that it is likely, "said Moberg. Reduced strategic value The former chief executive believes there is more money to get out of the company by dividing it up, rather than selling it whole. Moberg said the sale of businesses in the northwest has reduced the strategic value of media company. He believes also that "The Usual Suspects" as Berner, A-press, Polaris and Media Norway will be able to enjoy parts of the Group. I think the board disappears He characterized the news of Montgomery's reported resignation as the media industry's most pre-mentioned event. Moberg is not at all surprised, and think it is more remarkable that Montgomery has been around for so long. Moberg is far from certain that the incumbent Board of Mecom will be seated for very long, and also believe this may change.
