Yes, the Chairman bought in the day before Vanessa C, the PR director sold £9m shares. You couldn't make it up. Feels like the board don't communicate with each other let alone anyone else. Think BoD is trying to do its best but out of its depth. There are plenty of examples of directors buying into their companies at high prices. The MD at BooHoo bought at around £3 earlier this year. Not worked for him so far.

If Lending and Grotty's analysis is correct then the intangible is the uncertainty surrounding ML. Even with the company buying back every day the SP is only slightly doing better than breaking even. Without support who knows? The other threat is the large amount of shares held by VCs who at some point will want a return on investment. They are still sitting on a chunky profit so their strategy is key. Whether or not this share is undervalued is not relevant to me. Until results in Jan and ML clarity my money is better used elsewhere. If DT is over 550p come mid Jan I'll still consider it but not yet. GLA

If shops are told to close WOSG will stay trading through "By Appointment" - higher end purchases, Click & Collect - where customers can order online and collect form nearest store or online direct to customer. If stores stay open social distancing and other measures are already in place.

I genuinely hope the SP continues its current trajectory upwards but have no clue if it will. We won't know until tomorrow via RNS whether buyback is behind the rise (I suspect not) or something else which we won't discover.
Nothing will be decided about ML on the 16th. If he's extradited he'll appeal, if not the cousins will.

For clarity, I was asking specifically about DT and what makes its products superior to the competition.

Bit late in the day to be asking but are DT products unique - superior? Can't get a handle on them. Some have mixed reviews and all appear highly complex and pricey.

And who will they be buying these 4m shares from? I suspect Jeffries will be brokering deals with initial stakeholders at a premium and for a fee of course. Gives the stakeholders an exit strategy and protects the SP in the short term. Much rather have seen this put into R&D. The shareholder scheme already has over 57m shares so not sure why they need any more.

These will be held in treasury for use as they see fit.
Speculating in their own shares would be reckless.

The price fluctuates dramatically with tweaks to the numbers. Fascinating insight. For me the test will be how quickly they move in the direction of profit. I know in tech profits are sometimes deemed unimportant but in my world they are. Seeing DT on an F1 car worries me as the roe isn't proven. Hope this doesn't turn out to be a vanity project or FOMO as their competitors are all doing the same.
