The paradigm has changed Charles, regardless of what you want to believe.
It doesn't matter whether the fed raises rates or not this week. It will happen both here and there and the outlook for interest rates is sharply higher than it was even three months ago. The more its put off the more severe it'll be when it comes . Why does this matter? Loss making companies will pay more for their money over time stretching the profitability horizon further out. They'll need to increase their revenues that little bit more to cover the rises.
Those targets are so much pie in the sky now and only you believe them.

Sheltie. Curiosity got the better of me. I should know better at my age. If I was a newbie to this bb I might have got the impression that CR888 knew something that would boost the SP. Reality is, as you have been saying consistently, this may eventually come good but for now there is a tidal wave of issues to overcome, not least hedge funds smelling blood.

Its a timing thing. Some of the falls are general market jitters. Some are no doubt people banking considerable gains. When the update comes out, what's going on in the rest of the world will matter. Last Feb the same update didn't have an immediate impact but once the numbers were crunched after a couple of days the SP jumped. Doubt that this coming update will be earth shattering but knowing this team it will at least be on forecast if not slightly higher just like last year's. The numbers of course will include Christmas trading.

So to be clear, 90% is confirmed but you don't know what it means. But happy to quote?
Sounds a bit desperate. The question GAFG was asking was what did it cover? The answer is if it costs £1k they sell it for £1.9k but then all their tech support, wages, overheads and development comes out of that number. 20% was also being mentioned last week (by you I'm pretty sure) so that may be NETT profit - after costs and commissions. 20% doesn't sound too bad but who knows if its true. You were using the big number - 90% - to support your argument that they will become profitable soon.. You could do the sums based on 20% of revenues to work out how long it'll be at the current run rate to pay down their debt and interest charges.

Be careful what you hope for!

Here is my list in no order having listened to Charles
1. Broker avg TP = £8 - someday
2. MS partner might be worth more than market values them at
3. If goes up 10p a week will be over £8 by Christmas
4. If ML is completely cleared next month shares should double
5. Big contracts from state / military would boost price
6. If taken over price will soar.
7. Shorts could be squeezed.
8. Cyber is big so must be worth more (see 2)
9. Russia , N. Korea will start wars which could be good for DT
10 Talking to big potential clients / investors every day so price should rocket.

Take out "might", "if", "should", "would", "could", "must" and what are you left with?

Charles, I'm guessing you spend a lot of time on Dark Trace website, hence you see DT adverts on FT. They are dynamic and fit with what it think your interests are. If you buy a lot of green socks from Charles Tyrwhitt you'll see a lot of their adverts etc.
I can't see any adverts on the link, which tells you more about me than The FT.

So there we have it. According to Daily Torygraph the short remains. Must be true.... Sounds like another news story ATM where nobody did anything wrong or knew anything.

I don't know whats happening to the SP. Maybe hedge fund sees opportunity or MMs driving down to fill large orders. I do know fundamentally that nothing has changed trading wise and they've just launched a SAYE share scheme. That's what the RNS was about yesterday. Will hold for now as sitting on substantial profit. TU will make situation clearer and hopefully frighten off any shorters.
