Hoped SYM could achieve Indian standard accreditation. Problem is D2W has been in testing for over 2 years now and still hasn't achieved 90% degradation.

IS 17899 T:2022 is a tentative Indian Standard for biodegradable plastics that requires these plastics to achieve 90% biodegradation within a maximum of two years to prevent microplastic pollution.

Maybe the Indian authorities will shift the goalposts.
