If your invested in a company that holds assets in the ground remember those assets are finite; similar to the company and it's BOD if those assets are not properly managed.

Same here Happy, probably the same co.. Invested cautiously ever since; a glutton for punishmemt I suppose, but I did invest in GGP @ .37P (and UKOG @ 1p but got out early-ish). Opinion should have, slighly panicky, panicky, very panicky. ATM I'm the first, but hopeful, good luck all.

I do hope, particularly for the patient long term sharehoders, that by some miracle UKOG comes good. Having 'strayed' across here, which as an ex-sharaholder I do from time to time, I can't help but notice that with a market Cap. of £250k, the company is worth less than most people's houses. To some extent, SS has to be 'admired' for his apparent belief that there is light at the end of the tunnel. With 30b shares in issue (about 5b when I first invested) it has to be some light,. However there must be some serious investors that have been convinced. Good luck to you all and the company.

IMO shorting, especiially if co-ordinated although difficult to prove, can seriously damage a company. The same happens with co-ordinated buying for a pump and dump. However, buying is not obligatory whereas when shorting occurs investors have no control over their share value.n I am an amateur investor so this is my amateur point of view, correction would be valued, preferaby without abuse.

I left UKOG a couple of years ago with a loss, not too large but large enough. I was just wondering if SS is stillgetting his £600k salary, or was it (and should have been) tied to share price? A few names I recognize on here, which I still read from time to time so, if your are still invested, you're more brave and confident than I was and I wish you all the luck you need.

Tigg, I live just across the water (The Humber) from Glanford Park. As you have now emigrated to southern pastures, I shall take a Saturday relief from the wagging finger, sometime, and go cheer on the Irons on your behalf.

Saw TV play in Sydney Aus. on tour in around 1963/4. Eldest still has the programme (I hope). Great names in that team incl. Jimmy (popped up from a hole in the ground) Greaves. (Football 1st, MU supported 70 yrs). We're seemingly losing them all from that great era of proper football when they played, and we watched (all supporters together), just for the love of the game Winning Cups (F.A. or League only) was a bonus, not a necessity.

I agree with the Prof. Whatever is in the ground is finite, unless you can wait a few million years or so. Gold is a much desired commodity becoming with other metals. and will become even more, difficult to resource over the years. Take it and process it when and whenever you can. In the coming years, when most of us are long gone, they will be going through the tailings for whatever can be gleaned; IMO.
