Brooko19 from the fdp addendum " The well will be initially put into production using underbalanced perforating and with downhill gauges present. There will be an initial "test period" involving an initial flow and build-up to establish initial reservoir pressure followed by one or more short flow and build-up periods to establish kh and skin values and possibly additional near well bore information. At the end of the initial testing process the gauges will be recovered and a production log will be run across the entire perforated interval to establish the relative contributions from portions of the reservoir section. This will then be used in conjunction with the image logging of the well fracture system to establish the role of the observed natuy fracture system in the production performance of diffusion Ares of the reservoir. The production log will also check for water production."

Brooko19 of course they are going to flow test it,the Kimmeridge is a completely new oil play,nobody has any production figures yet from the Kimmeridge layers so they are not going to open up the valve and say there you go. See Angus fdp addendum to OGA.

Correct mmhatet 3year extended flow test to properly assess best production values from the Kimmeridge fractures. " The data collected will be presented in a further addendum to the field development plan which will discuss and evaluate the long-term viability of Kimmeridge production from naturally fractured sections such as this." Please note that some of the tests could be up to a years duration, production in all but name.

Fortuitous timing? A brand new set of instructions for County Councils to facilitate onshore oil and gas development two weeks before Angus application goes before SCC :) and I wonder why the Holmwood application has been recently revised to exclude a holding area for HGV,s.

All fair points bnzltn,as I posted earlier if I remember rightly UKOG and Angus are using completely different companies for their flow tests. I believe ( but could be completely wrong ) that what Vonk was trying to say in his double Dutch way was that because they are now convinced that it is one unified oil source in the Kimmeridge layers that the results of any flow test supports all companies exploring the Weald. Vonk stated that Balcombe and Brockham would be flow tested in the coming months but he cannot be seen to be presumptuous over the result of the SCC meeting because of the history of the relationship between Angus and SCC.

Alan would be the best poster to ask about that. Watch both interviews consecutively and for me it becomes clearer what Vonk is excited about.

I think the main point that Vonk was emphasizing was the movable hydrocarbons at Lidsey considerably derisks the whole of the weald basin for everybody. Hence what flows at horse hill will also flow at Brockham and at Balcombe etc. We flow test Brockham after Horse Hill because Horse Hill is already being flow tested at this moment. They never expected the Kimmeridge to flow at Lidsey ( I remember that this was Doose pet theory and he was right ).

If I remember right they are using different companies,so won't be waiting on hh,think they are awaiting outcome of 8/8 SCC meeting before announcing work programme.
