I know it is crazy how long its taking to go through, after all there isn't much to review is there ?

Once more poor leadership from CH, you have to ask if the best thing to come out of this would be a change in CEO - then maybe we would actually get something done that will lift the SP

Think that might be the issue, CH's lack of industry knowledge and the way AST's local markets work may well mean his naivety has been played ?

Colins background was 10 years in the Telco space before joining AST as Fin Director, so he probably has outstanding Excel skills, stepping up to CEO is a big step that being honest has been too big a step for him.

I'd like to think that the carry on hasn't been deliberate, more a lack of industry experience relative to the asset, and I am sure that along the way he has been played and made the wrong calls operationally, as well as mis setting PI expectation.

My learning from this is that now I look at the quality of the board that I am investing in & look for industry specific, proven experience especially in the O&G sector.

Personally I scaled back from here at around 2.4 which I was fortunate to do as at the time I thought we should kick on based on the info we had been receiving, now I'm sitting on my existing holding at a small loss that I'm comfortable to hold on incase CH pulls a rabbit out of the bag & moves the SP forward, lets see how it plays out

The current status reminds me of the situation we've been in before here, nothing for a long period of time then a decent rise, within a 12 month period we have gone from .34 to 1.8 - let's not forget that so quickly. Yes it is frustrating that we have dropped back to the current range, but as an investor not a trader I'm happy that the company appear to be progressing on the many opportunities that we have, that said I'd have liked more substance & frequency to the comms but it is there, along with the indicators that various people have found through their research ( if your lazy to do this yourself then go look at the excellent work of Freemanpro ). If you believe the story & you think Minty & co can pull the deals off then these are just steps on the journey

I guess there was some naivety at the offset from me that the company & its BOD had some integrity and that my posts are frustration that I got sucked in by the story & rampers ! Feel free to slate me as I now see this as a written off investment that's taught me a lesson and I will sit back and see how this plays out as I'm in no rush to get back what is currently sat in here

Coot, I guess what has changed is an increased level of frustration driven from zero communications from the company for months. Are you comfortable with the current comms from the business & the progress of the business ?

For me this is now written off. The lying b*stards that pumped this & pulled off something that Dynamo or David Blane would have been proud of while all the time taking advantage of the fact that the SP was in decline. The premium placing was a master stroke of deception by the Canadian midget & his welsh partner in ***** that I fell for, their mode of operation is now so clear I certainly won't be believing any of it & looking at their subsequent activities it looks like others have wised up as well. In fact it could be that they've used URU to leverage into MRS and that was their sole purpose. It's now a tangled web of deceit and crap that due to no comms at all from JZ / URU people are left to make up their own minds on, most of it points to incompetence and reputations in tatters. I keep peeking in on here to remind me of what not to do & who to avoid, luckily I've made the loss up here in more solid & honest companies / directors / twitter ' gurus ' so this was just a lesson I learnt from

can I suggest that you email your thoughts to both Simon & Nigel so that they are aware of your sentiment & the valid points you make

we seem to have hit the brakes on vol at 19m which is still more than recently, hopefully we can churn another 10m this afternoon and get us around 30m for the day

Been reading what you guys have been saying for the last couple of days, as a LTH holder here that did reasonably well in the early rise her, I've now been locked in but managed to average down quite some way, would be great if what you are alluding to does come off. I guess time will tell
