I don't think there is any commercial benefit to manipulating the date of releasing news, what there would be is a shift in sentiment, and releasing any good news close to AGM would mean that, in the main, share holders enter the meeting on " the crest of a wave " if released too early before then you get the calm that follows the wave so then people would take a more balanced view on the performance. I would also add that the way that many companies SP behave they aren't holding big rises that long !

It would be really brave for Minty to walk into the AGM with no fundamental news as while he might be somethings I don't think he is stupid and there are plenty of Shareholders in direct contact with the company telling them that, you could also say that Simon was added to the payroll to fend off disgruntled share holders as a full time job ?

A lot will depend on what the News is.

There is always the ability to slow things down, in this case and this is hypothetical - the deal is agreed verbally then needs to have the contracts signed, this is the stage that the timeline can be managed in the same way payments can be " if there's no one around to sign " ?

Now the news could be something internally that then could be managed such as a change in personnel ?

Anyway what is clear is that nobody knows for sure so lets stop the guessing, what I do know is that the vol will pick up significantly about 2 days before news lands

Yes, would appear to be that we are starting another step up in SP without any significant increase in vol - which for me is far more preferable than the big spikes as these tend not to be held for long. Also its more intriguing that the MM's will happily take millions of shares in 1 go, this has been the way all week and again isn't something I've seen that often.

Win4call, your last line is key, " in the right hands " I am afraid that in my view this isn't likely if Zorbas & Hogan are in anyway involved. Neither has the desire or have the ability to build long term share holder value which is whats needed.

All they want to do is manipulate the situation for their own personal gains. Classic example of this was the UFC fighter who was sponsored solely to feed Hogans Ego and give another photo opportunity for his various social media accounts. I am pretty sure that there is plenty of " expenses " from the pair being passed through the business in consultancy fees.

I genuinely feel sorry for the staff that are hard working here in MRS as well as PI's and for their sake I hope Zorbas & Hogan move on rather than hang around with their snouts in the trough

It's fair to say it has been an emotional rollercoaster here, but if I'm honest a lot of that has come from the negativity that is posted by some in here that is of a more subjective content with the more positive views being backed up with facts.

Yes timelines have been longer than our expectations, and our expectations have been misaligned to reality, and if I am honest I think that some here hold LT's view as gospel and while some of what he has hinted at hasn't come through I don't doubt his integrity.

My view is that Minty likes to " leak " snippets of news out for a number of reasons and that clearly isn't helping holders sanity, hey it could be an age thing. But when I go back and see the doom mongers state clearly that we would be raising cash again in October and we haven't I take some positive from that.

I guess I am close to the tipping point of believing in the story, but what I have done is taken the time to talk and meet with the key players here and looked them in the eye, you can get a far better view on a person rather than social media tittle tattle and jibes about private members clubs ( that who know if that is true at all ).

I try to remove emotion from my investments to get a balanced view, and for me the projects have been derisked further from when I first invested and I am sitting in a reasonably healthy position now, so that may well give me a different mindset to some who will be in a different position, but I do recall being about 50% down for around 6 months so it's not always been that way.

As for the Blue Nun it's just a phrase that I picked up when I was a child ;-)

Agree, and the other thing for me is that Colin has made no investment in here at all, that is the biggest thing for me now, and before you respond with the " he can't buy now " he has had plenty of time to in the past but chosen not to.

Moving forward I will only invest my cash in companies that the BOD have their cash in as well, otherwise there is so little alignment with the Share holders & BODS goals

I do wonder if that with all the goings on with ANR & the fact Zorbas & Hogan lost their attempt to oust the chinese, that they will go back to their original plan & take the technology that was originally URU Technology that then became Leindoss and push that back into URU ??

I actually take it as a positive that the bottom feeders like yourself are back here as that normally happens when they know something is coming, otherwise why be so obsessed with something you're not invested in ? as that's an unhealthy obsession & waste of time ?

My guess is that the new man in Brazil will be working through the final stages of the deal, so expecting him to be busy on that as he will be running it moving forward once is concluded, that would free up time from others to progress all the other projects that we've heard about

Seadog, Sorry to hear of your GAS, I don't think you're the only one with GAS at the moment, UPL have loads in Tunisia and I'm pretty sure there's some closer to our coastline, maybe something Minty can sort out ASAP ?
