Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I'm sure they could dig their own rad salt if needed. ;-)
"During construction access to the mine would
be via the A171 and B1416. Site traffi c using
other local roads would be prohibited – these
details are being set out in ‘Mine Access
Policy’ that would form part of employees and
supplier contracts."
So that would be a 'yes' then.
Lovelyboy, Merlot is OK but a meaty Malbec is my favoured choice (but also any port in a storm, or even inclement weather).
My thoughts were more of 'proving concept of mining ability' by actually producing and showing that the mined mineral is ready & available as the ability to process & turning it into 'Poly4' is already known, maybe this would reduce the perceived calamity of needing to transport it by any and all means possible in the soonest time, as all taxis, trailers & hand-carts (especially the articulated ones) have, for some strange reason suddenly become impossible to hire, the sea-coal industry is now on it's knees!
Understood you Lovelyboy, but what about a stockpile near mine-head and avoiding immediate transport logistics, would it have any worth?
Does it have to be taken anywhere to have a value?
Obviously there wouldn't be a direct cash injection if it was 'stockpiled', but would it have a value 'on the books' if there was a readily available 'pile' of it ready and waiting?
Just a 'post Pino Grigio' thought, ;-)
Cut out the trawler and fly them straight to Wilton.... sorted.
Only academic until it happens, and it can't happen unless you plan it to.
Well the answer is exponentially more than was expected a short while ago.
Another upward indicator.
What was the question?

scott1092, can't disagree with you.
I've not been a visitor here for long, about a month, but I've seen many of the posts in that time and it's quite obvious of who those that are the Quislings in the mix, they cynically play on the emotion of folk who have invested for a better future for their families and communities, best not to respond to their negative comments with anything but fact.
I assume he means "I'llbiteabutt"
Do you see the trucks as being 3/4 full or 1/4 empty? ;-)
