I’ve had these a LOT in the past always made on them. I sold before they hit 400p and definitely before William over the Hill. To take 2 company’s of about 2 billion each. Using my keen mathematical mind that makes 4 billion. To reduce the company’s market cap down to fee poker chips. The CEO needs to be the next chancellor.

Slow burn up for WPS

Generally…broker upgrade for OCDO, QQ. I traded a few times 120s to 250s missed out on the big rise. I’m trading furiously with WG, EVOK, SYNT.

WG. I think they are going to be bought by Sahara, they have very deep pockets.

EVOK. just bought back in again, quite happy to trade on the volatility

SYNT. I also have to many, just sold some at 122p. Will buy back at 115p

Sometimes I get things right. I sold EVOK and bought WPS the day before results. WPS is a new share to me. Some shares just drift lower, maybe through a lack of news. To paraphrase overlooked! Have look at QQ, TRN and perhaps CBG

Howdey…the numbers a very good, not going to comment! Market getting VERY difficult to please. Not a keen fan of buy backs. The maiden div should be enough push the SP forward. Might take some profit just before it goes ex div.

Institutions may all ready know the buy price that’s why they have buying all the shares they can and putting them out on loan andnow got 85% of the shares. The BOD JUST HAVE TO BE PAID OF!

In some respects it’s the best Endorsement you can have. I don’t know if it is the director buys or a kick up from results. You never know these might get to 130p

The other thing I forgot to mention is TRN. After GBR have finished? They don’t usually amount to much in the end. The SP will recover. They had quite good figures last week. I bought a few last week. Thinking of sell 30%, and taking some profit

WW….we may of had indifferent posts in the past, you are doing exactly what I’m doing. I may trade at 115s and sell 120s. For the next few weeks. Keeping the excess shares. What time frame are you putting on these shares. Like me these things are not set in stone. And can change quite quickly if I see a opportunity else where.

Some decent post this week on SYNT!

Howdey….have only bought 116and sold 121 once this week so can’t really call me a day trader. So I have a few more shares. It’s definitely becoming an ecumenical question. But still plan to hold for a couple of months. The thing with WG, the institution are putting their shares out on lone and buying keeping the share price depressed. And buying more. If the is a share offer they will have more influence. Going to target JDW this week have been building a position in them just recently.

Dusted down the abacus this morning! The numbers aren’t so bad. Not going to comment, the only thing. Muted start. I don’t think has done them any favours. I actually went into profit yesterday.

JW….Over the last couple of days have bought MRO, WG, I have WPS in my cross hairs at the moment, probably going to buy in a week. It was you that drew my attention to WPS. So any insight into them would be much appreciated. You can post on WPS. It’s even less used than SYNT.

TH….I’m no forensic accountant. I have an abacus and some of my calculations I can do on the back of a cigarette packet! My skill lies in SP movement. This company is sound and will benefit from the extra defence spending here and state side. This is a slow burn share. Probably for the LTH. It will probably hokey stick next week

LOTM…I could kick myself for missing the low 120s. In my defence I have been else where. It has been specifically AML, OCDO. I MADE A 15% return on ALM, not bad for a SP that has lost 30%. so won’t beat myself up to much.

I agree volatility is the key. I bought and sold quite a few times. Managed to get 6% return. Not bad for a SP that’s lost 12%. I go into tomorrow with my original stake. Any one with a clue where this AML is going. I have not had them before. Anyone ?

Treating the exceptional charge, mostly should be treated like any other liability. All the market is telling you, in line with expectations. You don’t have to be rocket scientist to know where the SP would be going if it was reduced profit and 10% cut in the div.
