I think most of the AIM shares are in the FTSE Small Cap or FTSE All Share indices. Some AIM companies that have a dual listing might not be such as BATM Advanced Communications

THG is one massive company that immediately springs to mind

The shares will be tradeable on the LSE next week (unless suspended like Evraz) but they won’t be included in a FTSE Index.

Only 1 is Fact from next Monday. The Index will attribute a value of zero in its index but the shares themselves will continue to be traded at market value unless (like Evraz) they are suspended or if they are (in all unlikelihood) delisted. So 1 is FACT but 2 and 3 are FALSE

Given the clarity and statements in the RNS, if these are true and sustainable, the company should take legal advice / action if the suspension is not lifted imminently. We are supposed to be a free market etc

Still no UK tax, what the US does I don’t know, but for UK tax purposes, UK companies do not have withholding tax when paying dividends to its shareholders regardless of where the shares in the UK company are traded.

Mmm timing is everything, I came in this morning at £3.54 and it’s dipped dramatically since. Question, to invest same again before close or hold fire and see what tomorrow brings? My gut says go in again if it drops sub £2.60 otherwise stick. Anything can happen….

Yes, it’s a complete failure in diplomacy. Trump would have done a deal with Russia to address its security concerns but in turn would have extracted reciprocal undertakings from Russia. Trump would have got a win win and the military operation Russia is conducting would have been averted. Alas, we live in a world of sides and confrontations and the people suffer.

Yes Willy it’s called a double standard and the West have been doing it for years. As for fake flags, remember Iraq 2003 and Sadaam’s weapons of mass destruction!!!! Millions of Iraqi lives later…. Still all this geopolitical uncertainty gives traders and investors alike to buy cheaper shares and make money. That’s capitalism for you.

I’m waiting to add as I think this has further to drop. The shorts are capitalising with this share, but on good news they will have to close. I’m looking to time the squeeze when it comes. I already hold shares (bought in the 130s) and won’t be selling these.

No update on FSP, hopefully this is progressing. Buying shares in this company feels a bit Vegas ie glory or bust.

The RNS should have been released 7am Monday not Tuesday. I’d be peeved if I’d sold yesterday at 102/103 because of UK media fake news over the weekend on THG Beauty. As noted in another post, better late than never….

I think we can take some comfort that ABDX has already had its fundraising (albeit at a substantial discount to the share price immediately prior to its announcement) and that our directors backed it each stumping up £250,000 of their own money.

It is very odd the substantial debtor has not been named but yet a write off provision made in the accounts. The scale of the debt seems proportionately massive to cause a going concern issue and more details asked by investors is wholly reasonable. Goodness knows what the company is worth.

If you are already invested I’d hang in there, even if carrying a loss following the recent share price crash. If you’re not currently invested, might be worth a punt, but it will be a punt as capital at risk if no sale and the cash runs out. I wouldn’t average down as that would mean putting more capital at risk.. if I’m wrong though ….. This is only IMO and DYOR.

The apparent lack of interest may be because PIs are concerned they may lose all their capital if a sale transaction / MBO doesn’t happen and the cash raised recently runs out, hence “do you want to go red or black”. It seems a bit Vegas but I’m in simply because I don’t think the cash raise would have gone ahead if there was no realistic prospect of a deal.
