I think £3 is nearer the mark than £6 as per presentation last Monday where Kazakhstan revenues are around 30 odd per cent of total. Still worth rolling the dice for though as Russian mines aren’t really zero.

It is being pumped in the days before it delists.

So the dividend declared stands, the ex-div date remains, but the payment date does not stand, but the dividend is still booked but payment merely deferred until a later date? Is this right?

Also if the company does not succeed in appointing a new audit firm to replace Deloitte, it’s shares could be delisted from the LSE. That leaves the Moscow Stock Exchange listing which would be a problem for UK shareholders. Hopefully on 25 April the board will have new audits (but who, given that the international firms are exiting Russia and Belarus) or will have plans to list on another exchange such as HK or Shanghai. Dividend postponement is good governance IMO but the wider risks remain.

Why would anyone buy if it’s going to delist? Could be a last chance saloon pump and dump in action

Auditor resigning for its own reasons not Polymetal’s. There are other auditors in the world, no doubt one of the other big 4 will be appointed soon. Expect an initial drop based on flakey sentiment and then a recovery later in the day. Should finish above £3 and I’m guessing nearer to £3.20.

It’s game over I think. We will be holding illiquid shares in an unquoted trading company. In my mind I’ll write this off, it has turned out to be an expensive punt at 20p a share. However, I’m keeping the shares as you never know in this sector what might happen in terms of a future offer, development and value.

Loving the down rate by Berenberg. Means another opportunity to buy cheaper shares and reduce my average. Although I do wonder if these analysts have got a clue…. All timed nicely for the new ISA allowance. Lovely jubly

I don’t get it, you’d have thought the SP would spiked on these fantastic results. I guess the market isn’t confident that the revenues from the infectious diseases business can be sustained hence the sceptism reflected in the SP. Paul Hill on Vox Markets says that even without the COVID PCR testing revenues this should be at least 150p on the most conservative estimate of valuation. What are we missing, assuming the market is King and is always right?

Sharelad…. You need to ditch your broker for their stance. IMO all traders / investors who refuse to deal in Polymetal shares should be boycotted.

Poppyseed, why do the interims have to be out by the end of March 2022? Sorry to show my ignorance but not too proud to ask.

I’m optimistic about the direction this company is going in, would buy more but have committed a lot already for such an illiquid share, my average is around 1.30p and expecting the SP to consistently be ahead of 1.50p by the end of June.

I hope you’re right and I believe you are, but it may take longer than expected when we were buying shares at 25p in the cash raise. Patience needed and as you say, once it moves up it flies.

Today price drop is a sign of a leak that the results will be underwhelming and no further news on Government payment. / Vatic etc I’m so underwater on this share and in it for the long term and I suspect many other investors are in the same position. Misery loves company.

Agree, not expecting much today. Need to be patient and hope the company starts to win more contracts and grow from here. Lots to be positive about as all the bad news is behind us and I think is priced in. The forward looking statement (if there is one!) will be key not the results themselves

I sold out when the share price spiked on the DFS news. We already know the results won’t be great as the shares dipped from around 3.5p to 1.8p immediately after the last trading update. Once we’ve got Thursday results out of the way this should mark a re-entry point but I’m not prepared to pay more than 2p per share unless I get reassurance in the Investor Meet Company call tomorrow that the cash reserves should extend beyond the end of this year and no risk of a placing.

Don’t believe what you see and read on the news, whether it is Russia, BBC, CNN or any other, they all distort the facts to suit their version of the narrative.

Should Roman sell his shares? No. Do I want him to? Absolutely. Realistically though we are just going to have to be patient and hope in the meantime the company itself isn’t sanctioned, which it shouldn’t be, but this is a conflict and anything can happen.
