Surprised this has not pushed on this morning bearing in mind share cap and cash pot make anything g sub 5p look ridiculously cheap IMO.

The frequency of placing is what gets me and the issue price is always lower each time. The last placing was at 0.4p for a much lower amount than this placing. If they’d anticipated and planned ahead surely they should have raised far more at 0.4p at the last placing? I’m relatively new to this share and have been averaging down since I started. No more!!!!

They are stated in the RNS.but it is puzzling why we have to wait so long (up to 90 days) to be paid. There must be a reason why the company would sit on the money for so long and the RNS hasn’t stated that which leaves cynical posters to think it’s a ploy to get voted back in at the AGM. Perhaps I’m being astonishingly naïve but I’d like to believe there’s a better reason than that. Anyways, roll on next week, let’s hope this gets completed and the money is received by the company and we can all breath a sigh of relief

Well back to where we were just before the last RNS so I think that was around 9/10p. More than 10p is unlikely I would have thought, but clearly under 5p is an excessive drop based on undue panic due to the mention of the word delisting

I wouldn’t be so sure about that, a buyer with deeper cash resources would solve the next financing issue. Also asset rich but time poor people won’t necessarily go to the supermarket eg: working couples on good salaries, pensioners with good pensions etc. The company spends a lot on advertising but this won’t be your daily rags but the sorts of publications that the target market is more likely to read. 10p SP is not unrealistic as that is where we were at the start of the week and very little if anything has changed.

SWLC - the further drop of 25% re WJG followed Kwasi Kwarteng disastrous mini budget. We shouldn’t have to worry about that for this share IMHO.

My buy is also showing as a sell. Mmmmm

What an over reaction this is. Order book down 13% compared to 1 year ago, yet SP is down more than 40% this morning. The Euro has weakened against the dollar but US and UK orders are holding up. I don’t think cash is particularly tight, more that as orders are down revenue will decrease, hence cash flow will decrease, so as a prudent measure to counter this the expansion of the Vietnamese factory and new investment in Portugal are being delayed. Sensible management and IMHO the SP should rebound from here.

Strange how SP has been 12-13p for the last week, then dips below 12p after analysts call.

You don’t know that, it isn’t a done deal they will delist, they are mulling it over

But it may not delist, in fact, my thinking is that it is more likely to remain on AIM than it is to delist, and the motive behind yesterday’s RNS (after all it didn’t say anything particularly substantive) was to spook the horses and relieve the bed wetters of their shares. By looking at panic sell off since…… I could be wrong but as an early poster alluded to, AIM is the Wild West of share investing

Not if they don’t sell the mine. As things stand there would be no other buyer. I’m confident it will complete though as the Russian buyer is getting an absolute bargain, just one third of the price being touted before the outbreak of Russia entering Ukraine

But then they would have to justify why that is acting in the best interest of shareholders (not just selected shareholders).

Let’s not let Sinophobia get in the way of a good deal. Actually the Chinese could do very well for East Africa and are popular compared to the West in that geography

They can’t delist without shareholder approval, not sure what percentage they would need but I’m guessing 75%

When a share delists you can’t trade them very easily so they become very illiquid but the shares still have value as long as the company keeps trading. Even then the current break up value is more than the current market cap of £1m by the presence of the £3m cash alone. Don’t forget that cash raise options are being considered for the medium term, there isn’t an immediate hunger for more cash. Traders will love this as a recovery play from the current SP
