Why the need to present to analysts, bearing in mind there could be a sale within 3 weeks? It’s not as though they presently need to attract institutional investors. Also, why no presentation to PIs via Investor Meets Company? Sounds like favouritism to me, although while suspicious, I am admittedly wholly ignorant on these matters, as my post no doubt reveals.

I think so too. Wouldn’t be surprised to see at least 4.8p by mid pm today, 4.8p being recent purchase price of a big chunk of shares by Bayford. IMHO and DYOR

I’ve just bought at 3.7p too as I think you may be calling this one right. Not sure it can be bought out on the cheap though as noted in prior posts when the SP was pumped up to more than 8p.

If no offer is made, the SP drops back to 9p vs current SP of 12.5p so you end up 3.5p underwater! A 25% + drop. This is a potential downside. Of course, if an offer is made, bags of upside.

Yes, Harry had a problem, he’s sorted it and told us in good time. We have a couple of weeks delay but everyone on board. Just need those signatures then full speed ahead. Glad he didn’t resort to a share placement to raise the extra funds, that would have eroded confidence. As Sham69 used to sing “come on, come on, hurry up Harry, come on”.

Chaarat might be a junior mining stock to think about buying. It did make me smile when I saw they are the 3rd in the trio of interested parties to acquire Shanta. A bit like the mouse trying to eat the cat

It goes ex-div tomorrow but in the scheme of things the dividend is now a bit of a distraction.

I think people are getting carried away with 25p + etc The Chinese are interested because they see Shanta as materially undervalued. As Eric said in one of his recent Investor Meet Company presentations if investors don’t see the value, others will. The Chinese will be looking for a bargain (which is a reason they’ve looked at Shanta) and I see that as being around 15/16p. Only if there is a bidding war will we see more, but there are other gold miners they could seek if we get too greedy. It only needs one of them to pull out…….

Disappointing outcome but really unsurprising given market conditions. Board did their best and 6 months ago it was looking rosy with the DFS tie up. I can’t really blame the Board, we’re all victims of the market downtown I’m afraid, simple as that.

Would be nice to see a share price of £0.875 as shown on page 15.
