I suspect most shareholders would prefer all the cash was dividend stripped (not just 1.8p) and AMC called it a day. Some LTHs may disagree and prefer the hope of rescuing lost value via a RTC but I suspect these are few and far between. A bird in the hand….

I agree, it’s a shame the dividend won’t be more than 1.8p because the fear is the rest of the cash will be squandered. Still waiting for confirmation of the receipt of the cash which the RNS says is imminent. Define imminent…..

Gazzleberry is expecting the worst from RY but that’s a sensible cautionary position as at least he can’t be disappointed. He may have a point. I’m a newbie from October 2022 so really only came in for the dividend and anything else is a bonus

20% down based on today’s RNS, really? Surely well overdone, the cash is looking good and external funding in the medium term is unlikely. Lots of prospects ahead and a potential mutilbagger IMO

The cash left after the1.8p dividend should equate to up to 0.7p per share. That post dividend cash to be invested in a new venture by way of a RTO or, if one cannot be found, then potentially returned to shareholders by way of a further dividend etc Just need the cash to land, hopefully RNS to follow tomorrow or whatever RY means by imminent

The RNS today puts those worries to rest although of course we will all be happy when the money lands at AMC, it’s already left Barings account (the purchaser) so the funds are currently in transit if I understand correctly

I also added today. In last 12 months I’ve had Rambler, Eve Sleep, Joules. Sensyne Health, Applied Graphene and Parsley Box in my portfolio. That said I made money on all except Sensyne Health. Be worried indeed.

Got an email late yesterday from AJ Bell and put my order in immediately, hopefully not too late as I think this will be oversubscribed like the placing and I expect the retail offer to close well before the 16th as they’re only raising £0.5m. That said it’s only open to existing shareholders not neebies.

The only fly in the ointment (she should have used this phrase me thinks) is that she may make a claim for unfair or constructive dismissal which would cost the company a wedge and stunt recovery of the SP. Maybe not while she’s unlocking her 12% shareholding though, unless she can claim her decline in the SP as a loss as part of a legal claim. These are lawyers who like to litigate…..

In the 9 January RNS it stated that further receipt of US$1,745,339.51 expected by 31 January (with further instalments to be paid via repayment of inter-company loan from April 2023). We’ve had no RNS about the position as at 31 January and whether that substantial payment of US$1,745,339.51 has been received or not. Would be good to know either way.

Another placing, but at least it’s this Monday and not last Monday when SP started off the week much lower.AP has doubled his shareholding by acquiring shares at the placement price so this for me takes a lot of the sting out of it. He must be confident to put in £82,500. Hopefully debt payment due at end of April now covered and fingers crossed re ZM diamonds

Agreed, and the sell off is way over done, should be into the 30s by next week. Bought in and LSE recorded as a sell. 10,924 at22.84 for £2,495 at 11:05:07 is mine and it is a buy. I suspect all the others around it shown in red should be blue too

Have a look at what happened on Home REIT, nothing proven but its SP plummeted and the relegation from the FTSE 250 resulted. The final outcome in that case is still not known but the market took the view that there is no smoke without fire.

There could be something the report and its findings / allegations need to be answered. I don’t short (not on principle, it’s just I haven’t got the bottle) but there could be good reasons why this share is considered to be overvalued and has been for sometime. Or, everything is fine in which case I’ll buy some shares and enjoy the bounce when the short squeeze follows.
