It’s the year end date tomorrow so we might get something next week, here’s hoping…

Me being lazy, but where is the info that sets out the terms of the options? They are nil or low cost but what financial achievements are needed before the options can be exercised and the directors get the shares? I’m OK if they are rewarded for performance as long as the financial targets aren’t soft

Yes this could be the Nicola F effect but also I think there may be a lot of unutilised hours re chargeable staff up in Manchester as the transactions work may not be as voluminous as they would like. Might be wrong, if I am then this is a bloody bargain at this SP IMO and could easily double from here. The SP went mid 50s after the last update which was not that long ago!

I invested at 29.4p this morning as a first time investor so got caught at the top of today’s range, but having not panicked and sold, I’ve held and glad (at least for now) having read more detail of the history from the filings over the last 12 months. Anyone think I’m a muppet and reading this all wrong, please chip in.

Hope so because I think Boohoo is trying it on. Just read through the 2022 audited accounts (all 134 pages) and following the detailed reviews by BDO and Macfarlanes, whilst there were some naughty irregularities these have been flushed out, we’re not that material to the overall financial position of the company and do not justify an SP drop from over £1 a share over a year ago to around 26p now. Once dispute with Boohoo resolved and 2023 audited accounts produced, assuming lessons from the review have all been learnt and more stringent controls put in place, and as current trading position has improved, all looking good IMO for at least a doubling of the SP from here. DYOR even if that means reading the 2022 accounts Yikes!!

Same as yesterday can’t buy or sell on AJ Bell where it says restricted from dealing. Anyone else on AJ Bell with same problem? Also, what’s the reason, although others seem OK trading this share. Very confusing

We’ve got more than enough money from tranches received so far, got the machinery and HMS activity well under way. Absolutely no need for a raise. DE was even talking about a dividend once more money comes in so this isn’t a company with cash flow problems

Hopefully will pick up later, but so far today’s news seems to have largely been anticipated and therefore priced in. Need to spread the word and the Abingdon name and generate wider interest, might take a few days for any real take off, buts that’s OK, I’m holding.

We’ll sort of warming up, but it’s a sit on the fence article, yeh but no but…. Typical of the Fool, state the obvious and reach no firm conclusions. I’d rather the Fool trash the share and then I’d know for sure that my £4 a share investment is a good one. I treat the Fool the same way my teenage son used to treat me, that is, do the opposite of what I say

If next weeks results are not as bad as anticipated then this should start to recover, all that is needed are some green shoots to stop the decline. If they are as anticipated then the downward spiral continues. Next Thursday will tell us the definitive direction of travel, anything else (takeovers, press speculation etc) is mere flim flam. The numbers need to do the talking

It’s precautionary in case not sorted by 30 June. There is still time for the historic claim to be settled. If AP had done nothing and simply kept hoping while the clock ticks down he would have been lambasted had the claim not been settled by 30 June. The RNS isn’t great but was obviously necessary.

Sold up this morning at 0.26p, I did wonder whether or not I was being hasty. Think I’ve made the right call but will watch with interest.

If you’re right surely it will be the last one because either diamonds will sort it or in the absence of diamonds the company goes down as debt repayment due by 30 June 2023 assuming extension date agreed. AP invested £80k when placing at 0.55p recently so I think we’re more likely to be glory than bust. Place your bets, or not!!!
