I’ve no idea whether or not the company will be delisted, but if it doesn’t do a RTO within a certain timeframe (6months from becoming a cash shell) then it will be under AIM rules. Tbh I was in this for the special dividend and anything else is a bonus although I sympathise withLTIs who have taken a hammering holding this share prior to 24/2/2022.

I’m expecting my broker (AJ Bell) to sort it. If the dividend hasn’t landed in my account by 15 June I’ll chase them. As a shareholder you have beneficial ownership but the legally registered owner (in the capacity as your nominee) is your broker and it is them that Amur will deal with and it is your broker that had to deal with any requirements to secure your dividend.

It’s not that long ago (a couple of months) that the SP was at this level. We get ebbs and flows. Yes it’s down because we are mindful there could be a placing or the shortest are at it again, but these things don’t last. SD doesn’t need to do a RNS unless there is something actual to report that does or may affect the SP. All the speculation and some of the chat on this board is mere noise or flim flam. I bought yesterday at 7p and will add if it drops to 6.5p, why not, the GGP assets are still the same and we are fully funded. I’m no disciple of SD but taking over from GH has enabled the company towards bringing the Hav dream closer to fruition. When the SP was 30p + this was unsustainable as the company had no funding and no means to develop the asset, now it has.

It’s thanks to the short traders that we LTIs get a chance to top up with cheaper shares and average down. On good news those shorts will have to close and the SP goes back up. Without short traders we wouldn’t get this opportunity. In nature even the parasites have their place in a vibrant ecosystem.

That’s a relief because it’s by no means certain there will be a capital raise. Even if there is there is no certainty it would be at a significant discount because there is no real need for a raise as we are fully financed. I think SD has said in the past he wouldn’t rule out a capital raise but it would need to be on the right terms bearing in mind the quality of the asset. If he raises for the sake of it at a discount then he will have to answer for that unless he can show that the raise is absolutely necessary.

I think there is some misunderstanding here. The Newcrest company that is the 70% JV partner will still be the same company that is the 70% JV partner after Newmont has bought Newcrest and therefore the JV agreement between the JV partners should continue to apply. However, given that there will be a change in control / indirect ownership of the Newcrest JV partner there might be some provision in the JV agreement that overrides the status quo, but if there is anything that puts GGP in a disadvantageous position then heads should roll because this eventuality should have been covered by GGPs corporate lawyers at the outset.

Crazy to say Hav won’t be developed, it will be the second lowest cost of production mine in the world according to a presentation given by SP around a year or so ago, so it will almost certainly be developed. The only question is by whom. If not GGP then it’s 30% interest will need to be bought by someone at a significant premium. Win win

The SP was recently over 9p and is now around 7p. However, what has changed apart from some loose speculation about a possible placing with no idea if it will happen or not or indeed what a placing price would be if it was to happen? Subject to a decision to mine, we should be into production a year from now. It seems to me a panic reaction unless I’ve been asleep at the wheel and things have moved on. Anyways I sold some at 9p and bought back at 7p so nice average down, I think that’s the best anyone can do until we have more clarity.

The ASX listing and corporate restructuring is a separate issue from whether or not GGP buys Telfer or the rest of Havieron assuming Newcrest are to sell once acquired by Newmont. There are too many uncertainties at present not least even IF there is a fund raise by way of a placing that doesn’t mean the placing has to be at a discount. Given the value of the asset you could argue that it should be at a premium and anyway unless Wyloo is a participant in a placing it won’t be happy if the price is less than the price they paid. We probably need to chill until the Newmont/Newcrest deal has completed and then based on their view of Telfer/Hav take it from there. We’ve got an ace board of directors with vast corporate experience in the big league and will not be pushovers I’m sure. IMO the current SP in the low 7s is an excellent top up opportunity

I think it’s obvious that for now it is all about the diamonds because the proceeds from their sale will be needed to deal with the debt. After that attention turns back to Romania, Tajikistan etc and possibly mining in Zimbabwe. If you don’t believe the diamonds exist then it’s probably not a smart move to hold shares in this company. If they do exist and AP is being true then it’s a matter of patience until he updates us. I sold one third of my holding at 0.8p the other day and will buy it back if the buy price dips into the mid 60s. I’m confident that this will come good not because of blind faith but following the money (ie AP chucked in £80k at the placing before the last one. But then again, perhaps you’ve got a bridge that you could sell me

The RNS said maximum of £5.5m so known costs must have already been factored in to arrive at that figure. If maximum is achieved that equates to around 1.6p per share so a potential of doubling your money from the current SP. If known costs were not factored in (and these can’t be zero) then the stated maximum could never be achieved. If I’m missing something and my logic is flawed please correct me

Mag - I bought at 3.90 this morning and wet the bed when it dropped to 3.10. Back in now at 4.50 but what could have been if I’d held my nerve. Made good money on Solgenics yesterday and I think this will spike again shortly. Should have listened to you on Mirriad. Mmmmm

He won’t go above 30% because he’d then have to make an offer (this is usually the case unless they’ve found a way round it). The question is has he or others already gone over 30% but acting in concert with one another. The RNS says not! I think Scott Fletcher will buy more but stop at just short of 30%

It needs 75% of the votes and there are still ample shares left in public hands to frustrate this. Even if it delists, the reason for delisting is to offload PIs so they can keep more of the bounty for themselves. If you hold and don’t take the loss by selling now you get to participate in that future bounty albeit you won’t have regular information until it happens. Why else would they honestly delist out of the blue? Do we really believe the reasons cited in the RNS are genuine?

He bought some more yesterday too, topping up at this cheap price to try to get sufficient votes to delist the company. You have to wonder what financing or other value enhancing transaction is waiting or developing in the wings. PIs are being robbed, I’m holding so they can’t have my votes
