OK fair enough but there’s enough cash to Q1 2025 as stated in the Nov 2023 RNS so no need for a placing.
Last trading and business update in Nov 23 states cash runway to Q1 2025. With news this week that projection should be extended. No need for a placing .
Evening Neil, see you are spreading cheer and goodwill on this board too. C4XD didn’t drop back to 10p btw but finished up today at 15p. As for ENET I’ll admit it’s a high risk proposition and I’m in here at an average SP of 2.7p so all I have is hope at the moment. Ya win some ya lose some ha ha
Earl, loving your enthusiasm, but in the interests of accuracy, mention of further payments from Astra Zeneca and Sanofi should be preceded by the words UP TO
The share needs to be promoted. Vox Markets might be a start as Vox has done wonders for the likes of Destiny Pharma. There's no point in being a success if hardly anyone knows about it. Come on Clive et al get out there and tell the market the great story and prospects to come.
Morning Neil, nice to see you bringing cheer and goodwill to the board lol. Have a look at this though and do some analysis and I think you’ll agree it’s significantly undervalued. After the results just before Christmas one analyst firm gave the SP a target of 55p which might seem a tad extreme at present but there is ample room for growth from here. I don’t think this is a share for day traders though
C4X Discovery should attract more investors now, but let’s hope the directors give more interviews and shout out their success. My past concern is that while they have done great work they seem to hide their light under a bushel
You don’t know that though. Neither do I.
Good point, I noticed they ducked the salaries question in the recent Investor Meet Company presentation and instead referred to looking at reducing costs (generally). That was disappointing. Also a greater commitment re acquiring a meaningful chunk of shares would have been encouraging, but no, the directors shareholding is minimal. So, I agree that this is a cash cow for directors and there is little alignment with shareholders, but surely (like Pandora’sBox) there is still hope and that while the prospect of success might be on the wrong side of 50:50 it’s got to be more than “virtually no chance”. Otherwise (apart from LTHs who’ve suffered) why would anyone be a shareholder here?
Agreed, but why would the company even bother if there is virtually no chance of success? Surely they’re not burning more money just to merely go through the motions
That’s OK if you’re a newbie or a trader, but for LTHs they’re already sat on a substantial paper loss so why not see it through? If there’s virtually no chance of success then why does the bother raising money and carrying on?
Yes, but given the recent placing at a 72% discount, on paper, they’ve lost at least 3 quarters of their money already if not more, so isn’t it worth sitting tight to see if this actually comes good? Imagine how they’d feel if they sold now and then the RNS comes out showing a successful result. The damage was already done when they did the last placing.
Oh ye of little faith, this could multi bag from here, it’s not even a binary outcome as there could be further drilling even if the next one is unsuccessful. This is not a last throw of the dice by any means. Stop scaremongering people to dump their shares who most currently hold at a substantial paper loss, so what more have they got to lose anyway.
Rupert, if this comes good but you're still holding at your current high average, and even with good news the SP doesn't reach your average, you'll be kicking yourself, as you could have made a mint. Just another way of looking at it. However, as others point out, you could be throwing good money after bad and having no capital means your out of the game. Might be worth catching up on Coronation Street and follow the character called Ed before making your decision.
Yesterday's profit on CRCL been used to buy shares in this company. Worse case, back to where I was 24 hours ago. Best case.......... multi bagger.
Also good that a supplier is prepared to take payment in shares rather than cash. A long way to go but might now be worth riding this out for the next 3 years and see what progress has been made when SB’s options vest. Hopefully any future cash raise will be debt rather than shares and its resulting dilution
de very upbeat on 2024. all sounds very positive to me as in discussions with third parties on options re tantalum mine (interest re taking it on if it is taken back off the chinese, interest in assignment of the debt), confidence in getting that nuclear certificate and also on progressing diamonds. all in all imo mcap should rocket in 2024, all very positive. although communication with shareholders has been quite sp****, they’ve not been sat on their a*ses being hostage to fortune. oh, and ams on board so possibly new opportunities. i’m trying to think of something negative to say, and as a seasoned eyeore that’s not usually a problem for me, but struggling to this time - perhaps other contributors to this board can highlight the downsides from here!
I sold my Shanta shares earlier this year and was gutted when I saw the headline in the RNS. just now. Then reading on, I’m shocked at how low the offer is given the potential of the company. This is daylight robbery I hope this gets voted down - maybe the Chinese can come in with more realistic counter offer. Shanta shareholders deserve better than this .
The good news is that Echo is not folding. Take the win!!! Just hope they find a suitable opportunity and can debt fund it rather than equity funding and diluting us PIs further.
Why would anyone short this now where current MCap is represented mostly by cash and there are partnered and other cash generating opportunities in the pipeline. Maybe someone auditioning for Brewsters Milluons 2
