It must surely be ‘wait and see’. There may be fresh punitive taxes on renewables, or fossil fuels, depending on which side of bed the Conservative party got out of bed this morning!

Yes, you could have been in BOIL, or maybe are in DELT, or UJO, or PRD, or AXL or….
Etc. To name a few. But here we have that cash-pile giving a hedge of sorts. I’m still happy to ride along and see what eventually transpires. Sitting on a cash pile during periods of uncertainty can provide for unexpected opportunities.
One gets criticised for taking their time , especially by ‘top gun’ PIs. I see this as perhaps a good buying opportunity and a good place to park recently realised profits form neighbouring aim stocks.

Back on subject, I agree Simple, CA have plenty of wiggle room. May have mentioned and certainly noted that weasely wording so often used in company reports regarding possible future actions.

A lot still depends on Gov policy (for CA too) and we now have further delays due to “events dear boy, events.”
I doubt therefore that CA know much more than us on that front at the present time. Next week should get to be more interesting after the bank holiday and a parliamentary session. I am hovering accordingly and may my holding in advance.

Mou1 was supposed to have a high chance of success last year, only to fail and see the SP dwindle from 18p down to 4p. So I am not holding my breath here, though I am holding, just not too dreamy about it and therefore have sized accordingly.

MrMersh: You have lost 25k today. But you still have 2k @4.142p. I would double your holding at this price on the basis that the market has over-reacted and will quite likely rebound, if only to 8p, (but possibly more).
If you do not have an extra 2k, you could sell your remaining holding and buy a ’contract for difference’ which will give you gearing and could see you retrieve your 25k if the price recovers to 10p+ during the next 3-6 months.

All with a risk attached, but the backdrop is an industry with huge potential. Movie studios had delayed many productions during Covid19 resulting in a poor raft of films. Movie houses are now picking up and historically one of the most popular antidotes to recessions.

Fair point asimpinvestor but energy security, oil exploration and/or any developments arising from a plan are all going to be longer term I would suggest. Tax credits will run dry before Halifax might be ‘rediscovered’/proved up/freshly interpreted/CPR’d/etc for a Potential jv or sale would be looking long into the future where Rona Ridge is concerned. I guess one could do the calcs p6(short term)/ p8 - (medium term) on tax credit longevity. Likewise, they will be included HUR (share)price tag. I’m certainly not disputing that.

I’m still unconvinced about the absence of intentions regarding Halifax which, if handled correctly under the heading ‘exploration’ (91% discounted) could add considerable value to HUR in any future BOD plan announcement. I’m sure either eg: Shell or BP could merge this into a politically astute, correctly balanced, energy exploration and development portfolio.

Well, at last we are about to have a policy-making body in place after a long drawn-out Summer vacuum.
I imagine the BOD are waiting to absorb the UK Gov’s position on a raft of issues before committing to any plan of consequence. But I suspect there will be rumblings and ‘position taking’ by traders in advance, so have increased my holding in anticipation of what I suspect will be a volatile though hopefully rewarding few weeks to come for HUR shareholders. Half volume today. All adds up to a slippery slope. But an uptrend nevertheless, building toward expectations for October.
