The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Retail even online is tough spot to be in at the moment as is anything with supply chain and inflation exposure. Look at RH in US. Was a market darling at $730 in the summer and now $400...plenty of others to look at.
I watched MADE from IPO and waited until price stabilization was done at £2 to see where the price would head. Thought I was smart buying in after significant drops but it still headed lower. Bailed after last results and kicked myself as headed back up but now back down lower.
On the face of it seems good company with growth and brand attractiveness. I would still watch out for the impact of delays in shipping orders flagged in last results, which may result in order cancellations. Can't recall how / when they recognize revenue but something to watch.
At some point I will jump back in just not right now.
OF13 - possibly might be more to do with the market than company specific - rising rates pressurizing small cap tech high growth companies with emphasis on future revenue growth have been under pressure this week as rates rise. Very few companies share price can act like an island.
Just watched the PI World presentation...safe to say the management team is not promotional, which I like.
Seems like they have a strategic plan. Interesting they estimated £10M In lost revenue due to Covid...adjusting for revenue from acquisitions makes the revenue increase all the more impressive.
Decent set of results - revenue £50M (£48M 2020) , cash at hand £25M, no debt, EBITDA £13.5M (£10m 2020).
Seems like recurring revenue is growing and the company is in an interesting space in mobility. I am looking for details on the US contract but can't find any yet. I'd like to know who the contract is with.

Yep US gambling has been a mini train wreck recently....DKNG down 35% from recent high in Sept - Penn down 36% YTD. Both these put a bid in for NY online license - DKNG was awarded one PENN missed out.
Relatively 888 is performing well +27% 2021.
I still think there is significantly more consolidation in market. Add in the looming rights issue, acquiring bricks and mortar outlets, exiting Holland it's all a bit one step forward one back.
Expecting some more softness in share price but fairly relaxed as long as no whooshs down....
I really like the 888 management but think they poked themselves in the eye with the rights issue.
Raised an eyebrow when they announced the issue with no price but assumed that they would announce pricing in short order but here we are weeks later.....
Longer term no issue so guess I'll hang around and probably buy more when issue is announced....please get on with to though...tick tock
Disappointing announcement today regarding repeal of MCIT rule before it was even implemented!!!
Company has a huge market opportunity but near term catalyst removed. Share price basically cut in half size June 1st. Derisked some today so will watch and wait for market sentiment.
Suspect people got excited about the EV, sustainability aspect of the acquisition and then realized no mention of acquisition price, which cooled people off, hence the late in the day retrace and fall in SP.
Agree seems like a logical expansion and fit for RN but lack of terms leaves uncertainty around terms and financial impact: accretive, all cash, stock etc . Long thought the new version of REDD ticks a lot of boxes for PE but that's not why I invested.
Let's see price action tomorrow.
Checked with my broker in US and they say that effective date needed to hold the shares to be entitled to Accustem is 9th July not the record date Nov 6th 2020.
Shame as I sole my ADS on November 9th...albeit at $1.30 more than they are now trading....
What a .........fill in the blank. Waiting for the class action on this one to surface!!!!
Throughly impressed with management here. Their updates through pandemic have been clear, concise and non rampy.
I missed the assumption in Q1 trading update of weakening collections......opportunity missed for me.
Interesting to see how this transaction evolves.
