Not many companies pay 9% divis. Just hold, sit back and enjoy the ride IMO.

Apparently, mine were paid but in USD. I had to switch currency view. Same as RDSA who pay in EUR.

Also found some divis from Credit Suisse there too. Wooohooo. Must buy some ice-cream.

Still no dividend payments...

Sold my lot at 7p and lost a few K. Once in a while like to check in as one does see what's happening. Same old blaggers, sweating their assets.

As for you TeddyMoore... You for real? Shares are not like balloons. They don't simply rise on hot air! If they did by the amount of your posts this share would be up in the £1.00+ levels.

Beware many bodies sweating this share trying to talk it up. Only one direction it is going and don't see anything to change it. Do you?

On the monthly charts GSK is heading towards testing 1750. Selling anytime before then really needs to be based on some high impacting bad news. Charts going back to 2005 GSK is on an upward trend making effectively higher lows. MACD also supports an upward trend.

Looks like BAU to me. 1750 key target and even then if dividends are maintained see no reason to sell.

I don't believe he is leading Zinc. I agree with your comments for a media firm it is an awful presentation. Even the slides with bold is so youtube text book style. He even had trouble reading the script as if fidgeting wasn't enough. Referred to slides as if it works. OMG... This man knows nothing about the business otherwise CEO's can talk off the top of their heads assuming - he is in charge which this presentation confirms to me he is simply a delivery boy - stand in. Someone who does as they are told. Strategy for growth as he puts it; Zinc buy other smaller companies in the hope another bigger media company will buy Zinc??? Why would they do that if Zinc is a hotch botch group of small media companies. I don't understand the strategy or the corporate vision. Is that it???? When strategy is A&M then is it vertical or horizontal integration. What is the plan? The vision? What is the purpose? To produce quality programs. No buy other smaller companies in the hope they'll buy Zinc out? What nonsense? Well managed companies do their own buying with clear vision as to why they are making a purchase. Very disappointing indeed from my perspective. I'd be looking for stabilisation and some decent consistent profits. Appalling presentation coming from a media company. No tie. No shave. Delivery boy reads script. Smells off to me.

One of those bucketshop contenders. Company turns from loss making to positive earnings and share price falls. LOL. Apparently a large seller is offloading big holding. ROTFLMAO. Question remains to be answered. Why would a big holder be selling over such a long period of time when Zinc supposedly has turned profitable? Why go on acquisition and merger campaign so soon after having disposed of loss making purchases? I'd hazard a guess this company is simply a vehicle for slushing away profits as a means of tax avoidance by some creative accounting. Beware. Instead of snake oilman selling hope one needs to ask some serious questions. You TeddyMoore, can laff it off? Enjoy your self :)

I'm amazed how someone can come up with something like this in two sentences back to back. How many times have we heard this dribble. Great to see more insider buying. Looks like the large seller has finished and the MMs are short of shares. So a large seller has been selling for what reason exactly? They obviously don't do any digging or research on their large holding to dispose of over such a long period with such consistency. Then on the other side of the coin there is insider buying - people with knowledge about what's going on. I can only imagine if there is any truth in those two sentences then someone is manipulating share price and thus, not something I wish to participate in. fwiw I've sold all holding and will watch with interest. Hope it rises but do feel there is much hollow talk with no substance just bodies peddling hype. Good luck to you all and I do hope it bounces for all of you still hanging in there. I'm out!

Because someone somewhere always knows something we don't. Price would normally creep up if anything juicy was expected in accounts. Fact price is dribbling off means same as before. Forget light my fire... SP is more like rain down a drain pipe to me.

More like it. Would have been daft to host such a show in middle of winter. Should take us nicely to spring and summer and hopefully reflect in SP along with more good news. G8 stuff. :)

I agree with your sentiments Terry and I questioned the business rational for airing villlage of the year in Autumn Winter period. Spring or Summer is ultimately more conducive to watching such a program along with all the advertising that may be generated. As for acquisitions they always incur cost and further spending without a clear business plan. Not feeling positive about Zinc at all. Much hot air and talk with not much delivery.

Strange numbers don't add up nor the business case. 24 weeks however, would take the show nicely into spring/summer next year. Seeing Village of the year 2017 over a Halloween and Xmas period just doesn't work for me. I could be wrong and see you are indeed correct. However, I don't see it happening. They better put their skates on. I see some retakes with 2018 editing going on. :)

I'd imagine something like that to be aired around Spring time leading into Summer so hazard a guess and say 2018. Can't see it being aired in the middle of Autumn and Winter. Don't hold your breath. ;)

Someone, somewhere knows some things we do not... Also, imo - mergers and acquisition don't always play out well and they always incur additional costs and friction of various sorts at the start.
